Super cozy and adorable, our high-end Bungalow in beautiful downtown Nevada City is a treat for a romantic getaway for 2, or a sweet retreat for 1. Nestled on a quiet street, we are just a 5 minute walk to the shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, bars, and many events of downtown Nevada City. The Downtown Bungalow (a separate small building from the main home) includes a kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator, and eating area. A gas grill is outside on the patio. The living area is a comfortable space with all high end furnishings - queen size bed with memory foam mattress, flat screen HD TV, closet and seating area. The spa-like bathroom with shower includes all the amenities you need. We also have a patio (with pergola) outdoor space for enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. The soothing sound of our seasonal creek is a plus. Please note, it is a small guest house with its own parking (very separate from the main home) - only suitable for one person or a couple. Also, the shower is not very tall - there is a seat in the shower and a handheld sprayer, if needed. We have always been committed to a clean space - and continue to go above and beyond what is required for cleaning. We charge all stays $30 for this exceptional service. Guest access The Downtown Bungalow is a separate building from the main home (where owners live). The building has private space and private off street parking for one car. Other things to note We have a fabulous pergola over the patio - a lovely place to enjoy the evening or morning filtered sun! There is a seasonal creek that runs alongside the Bungalow - enjoy the sounds of the stream on the patio. There are numerous trails just a short walk away from the Bungalow - the Tribute Trail and Hirschman's Pond Trail are our favorites. The incredible Yuba River is just down the road!
