Your hosts are a Lobster fisherman and an artist with a spacious home and extra room to share with visitors coming to Midcoast Maine. A 500' driveway takes you into the private residence, in the morning quiet sounds of birds and nature ease you into the day. Visitors going to Monhegan may leave their vehicle in assigned parking while on island. The space This bed bath suite is a large bedroom en suite master with laundry room. Blue faux finish walls and a very comfortable bed make this space restful and restorative. Guest access You will enter through the deck on the first floor from the back of the home (up 4 steps). Parking is located near this entrance, a lighted path to the deck entrance is very close. Other things to note Port Clyde is near Rockland (art capitol of Maine), featuring shopping, galleries, Farnsworth Art Museum, and Camden and Rockport Harbors and towns. Monhegan Island ferry departs from Port Clyde several times daily during summer for day trips. A local lighthouse, Marshall Pt. light is a couple miles away. Walking distance to village of Port Clyde restaurants, ice cream shop.
