Pretty bedroom + private living room near seafront

Make yourself at home in this comfortable double bedroom in an attractive period property just steps away from the seafront and a short walk to the shops and cafes of Herne Bay. You can relax with a good book or watch TV in your own private living room or potter in the garden - the perfect place to sit and enjoy a drink or breakfast on a nice day. We are a friendly, mature (well, older!) couple who look forward to welcoming you into our home. The space Our house is in a quiet road very close to Herne Bay seafront - a perfect location from which to explore the area. Come stay in a nicely furnished and pretty double bedroom overlooking the garden. There is plenty of storage space and a comfy double bed with feather duvet and pillows. You will have exclusive use of the family bathroom - with separate bath and shower - during your stay. Better still, you will have your own private living room with patio doors leading out onto the garden so you can relax in your own space and watch TV, listen to music or read a book. On a nice day you can wander outside and sit in the garden. You will receive a warm welcome with a pot of tea in vintage china. A light DIY breakfast of cereal and toast with tea or coffee will be provided. You might prefer to eat outside on a sunny morning - no problem. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements (e.g. soya or lactose-free milk) and we will do our best to accommodate them. Guest access We can provide off-street parking for one car if you need it, though there is unrestricted free parking on our road. You are welcome to use the kitchen to make a hot drink, but not to cook meals. During your stay We are usually at home in the afternoon/evenings and available to provide any assistance with your stay or advice you may need on things to do and see. We want you to feel welcome and are always happy to chat, but will respect your desire for privacy and to relax in your own space within the house. Other things to note The duvet and pillows are filled with duck feathers and may not be suitable for guests with allergies.
