Medieval home 1 in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town

Vene 10 complex of buildings was first used as a home by merchant Johan Boleman, 1374. After some merchants the address belonged to different aldesmen who might even live there. The courtyard is like an induvidual fortress and in recently renovated small house you can sense medieval aura. So far has remained winch, which was used to hoist the salt- or corpbags up, and narrow twist staircase. They both find use also today, as well as a huge mantle chimney.
