Tiny home in Wyncote

Pull into the driveway from a bustling suburban avenue and the noise of the street fades away as you enter and lay eyes on the tiny house, bordered by the George Perly Bird Sanctuary. You'll be greeted by tall maples, a round veggie garden growing inside of a trampoline enclosure and possibly one, two or maybe three or more deer! The 130 square foot tiny house feels spacious with its high ceiling, skylight, and many windows that welcome in the shifting light of the natural setting. The space There’s room for two in the tiny kitchen that houses a Breville toaster oven, single burner induction stovetop, electric hot water kettle, small fridge with a small freezer and a hot and cold spring water dispenser. The kitchen sink has cold water only, perfect for washing hands or brushing teeth! Enjoy a coffee experience with a glass coffee press, whole bean coffee and grinder, as well as a large assortment of teas. There are two barstools for dining. Additionally, there is a shared full bathroom in the main house where the shower and laundry are located. Guest access The loft ceiling is a bit low and a little tight to move around in, but it’s cozy and comfortable once you’re up there. If you’d like to sleep there, feel free to use the clean bedding provided. It’s a great little nook for relaxing or sleeping! Other things to note What else can we tell you about this charming and relaxing space? The tiny bathroom houses an easy to use Nature’s Head composting toilet (instructions on a laminated sheet on the shelf above), or the option of using the shared bathroom in the adjacent main house. Air conditioning and heating are part of the package too, of course!
