Welcome to our eclectic, bright & airy, dream apartment, with exceptional views. Located in trendy Tamboerskloof, this one-bedroom gem has all you need for a tranquil stay in Cape Town. Tamboerskloof is centrally situated and you are a short drive from Table Mountain, pristine beaches and the V & A waterfront. The highlights of the apartment include the peaceful balcony to enjoy your morning coffee and the bedroom which is spacious and has great views. We look forward to welcoming you! The space KITCHEN: With light streaming in from both ends, the kitchen/dining and living room area is spacious, comfortable and eclectically decorated. The kitchen has all the essentials and is well stocked with tea, coffee, olive oil, salt, pepper and long-life milk. The cosy dining room table seats four. LIVING AREA: The living / tv area boasts a large, comfortable couch and our TV is set up with Netflix, Disney + and DSTV (for those relaxing nights in after soaking up the Cape Town sun on Clifton 4 or Bakoven, or hiking up Table Mountain). BALCONY: The balcony area is a real gem, and we predict you’ll spend hours on it marvelling the epic views of Table Mountain. The balcony has a spacious table and chairs, so you can really make yourself comfortable out there - enjoy your morning coffee, midday break or evening sundowner whilst taking in the dazzling views. BEDROOM: The large bedroom is also a place in which you can enjoy the dazzling views of Table Mountain, with the multiple large windows allowing for early morning light to greet you from a good night’s rest. There is ample cupboard space in the bedroom, and the library shelves above the bed create a cosy effect - please do feel free to borrow some of our books while you’re here. Please make sure to return them on departure! OFFICE SPACE: There is also an office / work space in the apartment - perfect for digital nomads wanting to work remotely. The fibre 5G WiFi ensures maximum speed - so you’ll be well connected for all meetings. The WiFi password will be obtained upon booking. BATHROOM: The recently renovated bathroom has all you need to wind down after a day of hiking, beaching or working remotely! Due to the shortage of water in Cape Town we please request that you do not take baths. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND SURROUNDS: TAMBOERSKLOOF: Tamboerskloof is arguably one of the best suburbs in Cape Town. It is extremely safe, and the houses and views of the city are a feast for the eyes. You’ll find plenty of bright bougain villa growing over the walls as well as luscious lemon trees in the gardens. BLUE CAFE: The historic Blue Cafe is a short 400m walk from the Apartment. This neighbourhood heirloom has been trading as a café and deli since 1904. On the weekends, we like to walk up to Blue Cafe and grab a croissant and coffee, or on lazy afternoons, we like to sit in the sidewalk sunshine and enjoy a blueberry smoothie (you need to try them) and a slice of carrot cake! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! In addition to the abovementioned neighbourhood perks, you are on the doorstep of Cape Town’s best attractions and amenities. The following places are all a short drive from the apartment: Kloof Street: a vibey street with trendy shops, cafes and restaurants Bree street: some of Cape Town’s most sought after restaurants are located here Clifton Beaches: some of the WORLD’s best beaches (we are not biased) Table Mountain Cable station: access the cable car or hike up Platteklip Gorge and enjoy being on top of the world The Waterfront: a hub of restaurants and plenty of shopping The Orangezicht Market: arguably one of the best farmer’s markets there is. Enjoy a long walk on the Seapoint Promenade and then indulge in some of the delicious food on offer. Purchase fresh, organic groceries as well as exceptional flowers to decorate the apartment while you are here! *Please note: we cannot accommodate extra guests sleeping on the couch, and there will be penalties for this!
