The space The attic is the only room on the second floor and includes an en-suite shower room. The room is light and airy, there are dual black out and light-diffusing blinds, and comfortable memory foam bed with good quality white cotton bedding. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom, with milk provided; kettle, mini fridge and microwave, as well as basic crockery and cutlery if you wish to prepare a simple meal or snack. Guest access The room is self-contained, with access through the shared hall and landing. For guests who stay bit longer we can offer use of washing machine and freezer space in the kitchen, by arrangement. During your stay Once we have shown you the room we will give you your privacy, but we will be around and happy to help with any queries. Just ask, or message the host, and we will respond ASAP. Other things to note The staircase from the main landing to the attic is an original period feature, it is slightly narrow, with a turn, and there is slightly limited headroom for the top part of the staircase, if you are over 5 foot 9 inches, or so. Please see photos. A small step-stool is provided to adjust the blinds for those who cannot comfortably reach them. Although there is no lock on the door, it is the only door on the second floor, so no one else will go up there during your stay. There are no other guests staying in the house. We kindly ask you to remove your shoes for the carpeted stairs and landing. We have an elderly whippet who is usually snuggled under a blanket.
