Our home is a lovely 100+ year old terrace house on the edge of Bridport. It's very much our home and offered as such, we're ideally looking for a family or professional couple who will enjoy and respect our home. This listing is not offered as a 'party house' but more as an option for active families or couples who want a home / base whilst visiting the area. It's a fun, colorful home that would provide a brilliant backdrop to any stay in the area. This house comes with a cat called Ronnie. The space The house is a relaxed home. A little scruffy in places but oozing character and highly functional. It's a lovely airy home with high ceilings and period features. The lounge has a wood burner with a safety surround for children. There's a master bedroom, a large secondary bedroom that is ideal for 1 or 2 children (it has a full-size single bed that can be pulled out to make a full-size double), and a small single room. We have 1 large bathroom with corner bath and shower, a very comfy sitting room, a well-appointed dining room and a large kitchen with a range. We've 2 gardens and a small courtyard. There is an attic room that we use as an office and that will be locked. We tend to AirBnB the house when we go on holiday - and would like to stress that our home is ideal for a family or couple wishing to spend time in beautiful Bridport. We can make toys, a travel cot, and various useful kids paraphernalia available. Send us a message if you want to discuss this. Please also note that the house comes with a cat! It's his home. We can arrange for our neighbor to feed him (via the lean-to) or you can feed him. We're close to 'happy island' a beautiful park with paths to West Bay or Bridport town. We also have Seals Cove on our doorstep, this is one of the best soft play's in the South West and it has a climbing wall for teens. Guest access This is a whole house listing - albeit we'll leave the attic locked as it contains an office. Other than that the whole home will be yours. All bedrooms will be spotless, beds will made with clean sheets, towels will be in the cupboard, the wifi will be on, there's a washing machine and a dryer etc etc. Please note, the lean-to will have tools and paint pots (etc) left in it! Once again, this is our home, not a full-time Airbnb house, so expect to see some clothes left in draws and cupboards to have things in! We'll ensure there's draw and cupboard space in every room for guests too (don't worry). Other things to note We have a cat - the house is his home so he tends to remain when we go away. We can either leave you food to feed him or have a neighbor feed him. He's great fun and spends a lot of time sleeping or outdoors! Previous guests have enjoyed looking after him.
