Take a boat ride and visit any (or all) of the five restaurants and taverns via the water. If you don’t have a boat no problem. Johnson’s Boats & Motors in Montello rents and delivers them. Or rent a kayak, canoe, or tube from Rendezvous in Montello. Guest access Driveway entrance is shared with neighbors. Please allow plenty of space when parking. Other things to note Montello is a great area to visit and make memories. Take a hike at Observatory Hill and enjoy the amazing view, enjoy a nature’s walk or hunting at multiple state wildlife areas. Take in the beautiful granite falls at Daggett Park or visit the historic Montello Movie Theater. Enjoy two local golf courses, Sondalles White Lake or Thal Acres. If you want to venture a little further, it’s only 45 minutes from Madison and Wisconsin Dells.
