Nestled in the mountains of north Georgia, with a breathtaking view and the Ellijay River flowing just down the hill, “Sweet Clementine” is your private retreat only 8 miles from the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge or downtown Ellijay. This luxury cabin features beautiful custom finishes, modern-rustic decor, 3 king bedrooms + bunk room, a game room with pool-table/darts, two outside fire pits, and a hot tub overlooking the river & mountain. “Sweet Clementine” is located directly between Blue Ridge and Ellijay in the Appalachian foothills of north Georgia. Whether it’s boating, hiking, tubing, climbing waterfalls, visiting wineries, swinging the sticks at the Whitepath Golf Club, or picking apples at Mercier Orchards, our cabin is your launching pad each morning and secluded retreat at day’s end. Rainbow Trout and Large-Mouth Bass abound in the Ellijay River where you have 200 feet of frontage down the path from the cabin’s door (so if fishing is your thing be sure to bring your rods and tackle with you). The river is also a great way to beat the warmth in the summer months! Note: the trek down to the River is a little steep so please be mindful of that when booking! Inside, this mountain lodge three gas fireplaces reflect off the gleaming tongue and groove floors welcoming you with warmth and comfort (NOTE: Gas fireplaces are only operational from October 1 - April 30). Three king bedroom suites (one on each floor) + a bunk loft with two bunk beds and closing barn doors (bunk beds will be delivered with new mattresses March 1) stretch across 2900 square feet of living space. Each master bedroom features a custom-built king bed and a flat screen TV. Two of the en-suite baths have walk-in showers, and there’s a tub/shower combo in the bath upstairs.  Everything you will need to prepare meals and snacks can be found in the spacious kitchen, equipped with stainless steel gas appliances, granite countertops, and both drip and Keurig coffeemakers. Or you can fire up the gas grill on the top deck just outside the dining room. There’s seating for 8 at the dining table which sits before an ascending stone fireplace. After dinner relax in the fully equipped game room with a round of darts, a game of pool, or a session on the arcade. Or you can just chill in a rocker under the stars with a glass of wine in one hand and a book in the other. Additional cabin amenities include high speed wifi, board games, washer/dryer, and two outdoor fire pits - one on the knoll in front of the cabin and the other at the river’s edge. River Escape is a perfectly located gated community right on the Ellijay River just two miles off of Hwy 76 between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Gentle gravel roads lead from the highway to the River Escape gate and then directly to our cabin at the top of the hill.
