Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of north Georgia, with a breathtaking mountain view and the Ellijay River flowing just down the hill, “Sweet Clementine” is your private retreat only 8 miles from the shops and restaurants of downtown Ellijay or downtown Blue Ridge. This luxury cabin features 3 king bedrooms + a double bunkbed room, a pool-table, and a hot tub overlooking the river! The space “Sweet Clementine” is perfectly located directly between Blue Ridge and Ellijay in the Appalachian foothills of north Georgia. Whether it’s boating, hiking, tubing, climbing waterfalls, visiting wineries, swinging the golf clubs at Old Toccoa Farm or the Whitepath Golf Club, or picking apples at the numerous nearby Orchards, our cabin is your launching pad each morning and secluded retreat at day’s end. The cabin sits just up the hill from the Ellijay River where you have 200 feet of frontage down the path from the cabin’s door. The river is also a great way to beat the warmth in the summer months! Note: the trek down to the River is slightly steep so please be mindful of that when booking. IMPORTANT: Well mannered and house broken dogs are welcome at the cabin but must be registered in the booking and pet fee of $75 must be paid. Inside, the cabin three gas fireplaces reflect off the gleaming tongue and groove floors welcoming you with warmth and comfort (NOTE: Gas fireplaces are only operational from October 10 - March 15). Three king bedroom suites (one on each floor) + a bunk loft with two bunk beds and closing barn doors stretch across 2900 square feet of living space. Each master bedroom features a custom-built king bed and a flat screen TV. Two of the en-suite baths have walk-in showers, and there’s a tub/shower combo in the bath upstairs (note: Only one starter roll of toilet paper is provided in each bathroom. Hand soap is in each bathroom but body soap and shampoo is not provided). Everything you will need to prepare meals and snacks can be found in the spacious kitchen, equipped with stainless steel gas appliances, granite countertops, and both drip and Keurig coffeemakers (coffee is not provided). There’s seating for 8 at the dining table which sits before an ascending stone fireplace (note: Only one roll of paper towels is provided in the kitchen). After dinner relax in the game room with a game of pool. Or you can just kick back in a rocker under the stars with a glass of wine in one hand and a book in the other. Additional cabin amenities include high speed wifi, board games, washer/dryer, and an outdoor fire pit on the knoll in front of the cabin. With its ideal location, pristine setting, and all the comforts of a home away from home, “Sweet Clementine” is the perfect destination for your next vacation and we would absolutely love to host you! PLEASE NOTE :: there is a gas grill on the deck but it is NOT operational. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one towel per guest.
