Luxury Shepherd Hut at Dawn Chorus Holidays

Luxury Glamping at its best. We have introduced three shepherds’ huts to our working farm along with 2 safari tents. We are based on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, close to the market town of Beccles the gate way to the Broads. Once again we are offering outdoor living with a twist-luxury, comfort, beautiful countryside, and the great outdoors. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or rural retreat with the family our shepherd’s huts have everything. The space The Texel shepherd hut sleeps two, plus two small children. Fully equipped and decorated with a William Morris Theme, this shepherd hut is nestled among the trees on the outskirts of our spacious glamping site at Dawn Chorus. Texel includes a fully equipped, bespoke kitchen area with integrated fridge-freezer, oven, kettle, toaster, and two-stove hob. The hut has a pull-out table and two chairs, with another two chairs can be provided when there are children. This unit is well insulated and includes an electric heater and heated towel rail. On those cooler days we make sure the hut is warm and cosy for your arrival. Texel has a en-suite with shower. The bed is a standard double with luxury bedding and a wool duvet designed to keep you cool when the weather’s warm, and lovely and warm when temperatures are cooler. Above the bed are two small bunk beds that can be pulled down. No children over 110cm, please. The Texel has its own private outdoor seating area with barbecue/firepit. So whether you are a family with small children or a couple this is the perfect getaway. Well-behaved pets are welcome. We think you’ll fall in love with the area, just like we did when we moved our family here in 1991. Dawn Chorus glamping site is situated in the village of Barsham, in the Waveney Valley, not far from the bustling market town of Beccles and the beautiful town of Southwold, on the Suffolk coast. On our doorstep, we have wonderful walks and lots of opportunities to explore the Broads by hired boat or canoe. Other things to note Dawn Chorus is a peaceful site focussing on nature so we do not permit amplified music/speakers and have a peaceful policy whereby guests must keep any noise to a minimum from 10pm to 8am🙏
