Guest access Make yourself at home! The entire cottage is included in your rental. Other things to note 1. The cottage uses lake water, which is not drinkable. Please bring bottled water or an 18L jug for the water cooler. 2. Septic system in use—do NOT flush feminine products, paper towels, tissues, wipes, or sanitary items. 3. Black flies in spring and mosquitoes in summer. We provide some bug spray but recommend bringing your own. 4. No bathing in the lake, even with biodegradable soap—it won’t break down properly in the rocky lakebed. 5. Bring swim towels; bath towels are provided (one per guest). 6. Take all garbage and recycling to Whitestone Landfill or home. Fee charged if left behind. Use clear bags provided. 7. Park only at the top of the hill—do not park near the cottage at the bottom.
