Lake Road, Ovid, NY 14521 **From Memorial Day to Labor Day the house is rented by the week, from Sunday to Sunday only. The rest of the year has a two night minimum.** **There are 4 bedrooms, each accommodates 2 people, for a total of 8 people. However, there is a pullout sofa for additional children, for a total of 10 people. If you have 10 guests, just keep in mind 2 people will be sleeping on a Full-size pullout sofa. The House: This stunning 3-level Contemporary Home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. An upscale luxury home, provides everything you will need for a relaxing, stress-free vacation. Every level has a lake view that won't disappoint. Top level features a gorgeous Master bedroom with a King-size bed, spacious on-suite, soaking tub with a lake view, water closet, coffee/wine station, desk/work area and private balcony. Enjoy your morning coffee or sip some wine in the evening and take in all that lake life has to offer. Middle level features a comfortable living area with an open floor plan, a large sectional, 65" tv and a stone gas fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals with ease. The dining area gives you exceptional views of the lake while you dine. The table comfortably seats eight and the counter seats three. There are two bedrooms on this level; one features a Queen-size bed and the second a Twin-size bed with a Twin-size trundle bed. Each room has a tv and they share a full size bathroom. This level also includes a spectacular wrap-around porch. There is plenty of seating plus a large dining table. Peek around the corner and you will see a gas grill available. Lower level suite features a private bedroom with a Queen-size bed with a tv, full kitchen, table area, living area with tv, Full-size sofa-sleeper, full bathroom and laundry room. The Game Room: The garage has been transformed into an awesome game room. Grab a partner and play pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, bubble hockey, darts or shuffleboard. Or take a bike ride on one of the four bicycles available. A full-size refrigerator/freezer is available to keep those drinks cold. The Backyard: Lounge on the 125' of lakefront property or hang out on the dock with lots of seating provided. An indoor storage area is available and filled with swim floats, 2 paddleboards, a 2 person inflatable boat, 2 plastic pools, boogie boards, coolers, outdoor entertaining trays, drink buckets, beach towels, children's activities, grill accessories and life jackets. The large patio offers an outdoor table that seats 12, stone gas grill, stone gas fire table with benches and 3 kayaks. Relax on the loungers under a market umbrella, take a nap on the hammock or have a bonfire around the firepit. Don't forget to bring your boat or jet ski on vacation (PLEASE LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME SO YOU CAN USE THE LIFTS). Still want more? All this is on the East side of the lake in Ovid, where there is a panoramic view of every sunset. The Destinations: Your lakeside retreat is located in the heart of wine country. You'll be surrounded by wineries, breweries and cideries. Need more activities? Sampson State Park offers biking trails, hiking, swimming, miniature golf, outdoor movies, a playground, pontoon rentals, boat launch and boat trailer storage. Try your luck at Del Lago Resort/Casino. Spend the day shopping at Waterloo Premier Outlets. Bring your golf clubs and play at Bonavista State Golf Course. Don't forget Taughannock State Park. Enjoy waterfalls, gorge trails, swimming and hiking. Ovid also has many fruit and vegetable stands. Ithaca, Watkins Glen or Geneva are only a half hour away and offer festivals, boat cruises, night life, shopping and restaurants. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and property. Other things to note Recommended: Bring bottled water for drinking. Amenities provided: * Paper supplies: 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for each bathroom and a roll of paper towels for each kitchen. Additional paper products will be needed for weekly stays (toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates and napkins) * Kitchen supplies: 1 garbage bag for trash and 1 garbage bag for recycling, salt & pepper, some spices, cooking spray, dish detergent, new cleaning sponge, dishwasher detergent, foil, plastic wrap, hand soap and cleaning supplies. Additional kitchen supplies will be needed for weekly stays (garbage bags, detergents, etc.) * Bathroom supplies: towels and hand soap. * Bedroom supplies: sheets and bathrobes. * Laundry supplies: laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Don't forget: * Bathing suits, water shoes and sunscreen * Firewood to use the fire pit Additional information: * Gas fire table cover is heavy. Please be careful lifting and replacing as to not drop, break or scratch stone surface. Carefully lean cover against the side of the fire table when in use. Long gold key to turn on gas is kept inside fire table under the stone cover. Lighters are in drawers of kitchen, if needed. After use, leave uncovered until cool, then place gold key inside and gently cover. DO NOT LEAVE FIRE TABLE OR FIRE PIT UNATTENDED. * Close umbrellas when raining, windy and at night. * Beach towels are provided in storage room for outside use. * Children must wear life jackets or arm floaties in the back yard or when on the dock for their safety. * No diving or jumping off the dock, the water is too shallow. * Air pump is located in the storage room if needed for floats. * Highchair and Pack-n-Play are located under the stairwell, in the closet, on the bottom level. * Game room is located in the garage. Enjoy! * If the water has a sulphur smell, run the shower in the master bath, open the window and shut the doors. After an hour the smell will run through. Checkout: * Please place all towels on the laundry room floor. Do not strip the beds. * Please remove all garbage from the house and place in the garbage cans in garage. * Have a great time and enjoy your getaway at the lake :)
