The space After a complete refurbishment, we’re very pleased to share our latest addition to our homes from home in Lyme Regis! With a spacious, secluded, sun-trapped garden and an enviable wood-fired hot tub, The Hideaway is our way of luxury living in the heart of the town. The Hideaway has been designed perfectly for a couple wanting a romantic weekend retreat, as well as those looking for a well-sized bolthole to explore the Jurassic Coast. This garden apartment has everything on your door step, surrounded by local restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. The Hideaway is situated just a 2 minute walk to the beach front and has views of the sea from the end of the garden where…yes, where we’ve installed a scandi-style wood fired hot tub! With bold greens and warm yellows, the kitchen and living space provide an incredible area for nights in and making delicious food. The lounge area opens out into a cosy conservatory and then through the glass double doors you’ll find the garden of dreams! Planted with rosemary, lavender and other beautiful evergreens, this is a garden of paradise! The living and dining area is ample space for a couple with a super comfy sofa, to snuggle up and perhaps watch Netflix if it decides to rain. There’s a smart TV for logging into online streaming applications, as well as outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. The bedroom features a brushed-brass bed which contrasts perfectly against the fresh, calming green wall paint. There are open wardrobes for hanging clothes as well as drawer space for guests who want to spend a bit longer at this property…The theme of this apartment is peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom has a vibrant yellow vibe, with Victorian style tiles and traditional fixtures. The bath-shower combination makes a good combination to rinse off sandy toes, as well as longer, more relaxing evening baths. We provide luxurious green cotton John Lewis towels. THE HOT TUB: We’ve installed a beautiful, Scandinavian vibe tub perfect for a couple looking to relax. The smell of a fresh wood fire and views out to sea will truly provide a luxurious and relaxing touch to your holiday. Made by Lazyzee Living, its origins to Japan have long been associated with deep relaxation and the healing power associated with the buoyancy of hot water. Hundreds of years ago they were used as a deep soaking bath, now with the addition of a powerful wood fired heating system, they make the perfect couples relaxation aid; light the fire, give it a stir and prepare to be the most relaxed you’ve been in a long while! We are dog friendly, please add to your booking form if you are bringing your furry friend with you. Please note: The hot tub water is heated by burning logs and takes up to 4 hours to heat. The fire needs to be tended to continually (like you would a typical fire) with occasionally stirring, to distribute the hot water.
