Our apartment, for exclusive use and with independent access, is part of a prestigious villa with views over the bay of Giglio Campese. The equipped beach, the rocks and the town center are within a 5-minute walk. From the two terraces and from the breathtaking one-of-a-kind glass wall in the living room, you will enjoy wonderful sunsets over the sea. You can find us on IG, write us via DM and follow us to see more photos and videos! @vetratasulmare_isoladelgiglio The space The apartment consists of: two large terraces overlooking the sea (one with the table for lunch and dinner outside, with access to the living room; the other one with deckchairs, with access to the two bedrooms); a living room with the breathtaking one-of-a-kind glass wall (which makes the house enjoyable even out of season), a dining table, a double sofa bed and a smart TV; separate kitchenette complete with a dishwater, with window; windowed bathroom with a bidet, a shower and a washing machine; master double bedroom and a second room with two single beds (the bunk bed has no protection bar), both with French windows opening onto the terrace. The living room and the kitchen were renewed in April 2022, while the bathroom was renewed in February 2024. In the living room, you will find a new 32-inch smart TV: you can enjoy Netflix or your favorite pay TV through your personal accounts. In the kitchenette, besides the moka pot, you will find a new Nespresso coffee maker (coffee capsules not included). There is also an oven, microwave and kettle. Since February 2025, the flat has been equipped with an air-conditioning system (in the living room and in the two bedrooms) which can also provide heat in off-season periods. Alternatively, an air fan is also available. Wi-fi connection is provided through a modem in the living room (connected to the smart TV and also perfect for remote working with a sea view!) The apartment is ideal for 4 people but spacious and livable even in 6 people. Depending on the period, a free outdoor parking space in the courtyard is available upon request. However, there are also numerous other car parks, free or for a fee, within a short distance. You can reach the apartment by climbing an outdoor staircase from the main street or through a downward staircase from the parking in the backyard. The cleaning agency (owned by the co-host) also provides the linen (sheets and towels) included in the price. You can request them mid-week cleaning and a further change of linen (subject to charges). For two-weeks stays, the change of linen for the second week is included in the price. An electric broom is also provided. How to reach Giglio Island and how to get around the island? To reach the island, it is possible to embark your car on the ferry (in which case, it is advisable to reserve a place on board well in advance); otherwise, you can park for a fee in Porto Santo Stefano and get around the island by bus (the bus stop is right under our house) or rent scooters and bikes. There are also four collective taxis, which must be booked by telephone well in advance. In Giglio Campese, however, everything is within walking distance (beach and rocks, paths and coves, restaurants and shops, boat rental) and you can forget the car for the duration of your stay. Car, bus or taxi are only needed to reach Giglio Porto or Giglio Castello. Depending on the period, a parking space in the courtyard is available upon request. From the car park at the back, it is only a few steps down to the house. The courtyard is a bit narrow, thus it could be difficult to maneuver in case you have a big car. There are anyway many other parking spaces near the house (at a maximum of 10 minutes’ walk), whether gratis or for a fee.
