Relax with the whole family at this peaceful private retreat with room to roam! Tucked up under the Mogollon Rim Lookout, this 1800 sq ft single story home is perfect for enjoying a getaway with family or friends. Kick back and relax while you explore our multiple spaces with in the nearly 7 acre Homestead property. Plenty of trails for hiking and horseback riding. The adjacent property, Colcord Mountain Hideaway can be rented separately or together with the Retreat. $25 fee for dogs/horses. The space This newly renovated cabin is clean and modern yet rustic. The living area includes a large vaulted great room with a fireplace and all the charm of a mountain retreat. There is a large flat screen TV with fast Starlink access and a great internet connection in case you need to work or stay connected. The first bedroom is tastefully decorated and has two queen beds, a gas fireplace, a large walk in closet, and a fun windmill fan. The second bedroom is also newly decorated and has one queen bed, a closet, and a window seat with a view. There is a sleeper sofa in the family room area as well as plenty of places to relax! A blow up mattress and pack and play are always available. All new bedding and towels are included. The kitchen features a large round table for gathering around to play games or have large family meals. The kitchen has all the dishes and pans you will need and in the winter we provide the ingredients for SMores! The front and back patios offer serene views of the forest and the deer and elk that frequent the property. Guest access You will have access to the entire home as well as the 7 acres around the home. We welcome you to walk over to our barn and three small buildings that were once part of the original Homestead in 1895! Directly behind our property is the National Forest which is great for hiking or horseback riding. Other things to note There is an adjacent property, Colcord Mountain Hideaway that can be rented for larger family gatherings. Both properties are private and guests park and enter from opposite sides and have minimal interaction. There is a $25 per dog/horse fee. Guests are expected to pick up after their pets.
