Come stay in our laid-back townhome next to Jewel Lake Park! Our location is close to dining, bowling, and groceries and it is just a 10 minute drive to the airport. Take a stroll on the winter trails connecting Jewel and Sand Lakes, or snuggle up by the fireplace. We make sure the property is comfortable because we stay here often when visiting family in Anchorage and just installed a 65" TV in the living room and king bed in the master bedroom. The space You will have access to the entire townhome, including two upstairs bedrooms with full bath, downstairs living/dining room, kitchen, pantry, and half bath. -Upstairs: Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet and a balcony. The full bathroom has two sinks and a recessed linen shelf with plenty of towels. Guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, looks out over the yard and offers a glimpse of the mountains. -Downstairs: The living room has a large couch which can pull out into a nice bed! The fireplace is very cozy on cold Alaska evenings. The TV has an Amazon Fire Stick and included Netflix service and we provide a Wii with several games including Wii Sports and Super Smash Bros. Dining room table seats 6 and the breakfast bar has 3 stools. The kitchen is fully stocked and offers a lot of counter space. The refrigerator is in the pantry along with the washer and dryer and the half bath is right across. -Backyard: The fenced-in backyard features a large deck with a propane grill. Raspberries grow in the summer along with wild roses. -The lake: Resident and migratory waterfowl can be seen here and the kiddos can run around on the fun pirate-themed playground. The park also has volley ball, a zip line, and a ping-pong table. There is a covered picnic area with charcoal grills available. In the winter, frozen Jewel Lake is the perfect place for an evening stroll, or take the trail through the woods to Sand Lake for a 4 mile loop. We personally love taking the dogs, skis, or bikes on to the lake for some peaceful exercise! -Within walking distance: Jewel Lake Bowl is a local favorite where drinks can be purchased from the adjoining Trophy Lounge bar. The bar also has a heated patio with tables and lawn games (cornhole!). Chinese, sushi, pizza, and fast food are close by, and the Java the Hut coffee cart makes a great cup. Carr's is a laid-back grocery store with everything you could need. Guest access Guests may use the whole house and the backyard. We store personal items in the garage and keep it locked. Other things to note Trash pick-up is on Friday and we will be by Thursday evening or Friday morning to take out the garbage can. During winter months we have plow service for our driveway and we may ask you to move your vehicle. This property is in a cul-de-sac and accordingly we ask that our guests be respectful of neighbors and comply with Anchorage's quiet hours of 10pm-7am. Registration Details STR20260219
