950 SF Cozy and BRIGHT basement apartment with large Kitchenette, Mountain Views, 9 ft Ceilings, Washer and Dryer, Comfortable Queen Bedroom and GORGEOUS Farmhouse Bathroom, located in an upscale and spacious neighborhood just 7.8 Miles (15-18) minutes to River Arts District, Haywood Road, and Downtown Asheville. Pets welcome up to 50lbs. The space Basement Bliss is the perfect place for your short or long term stay! The Kitchen:. The kitchen features a hot plate, Instapot, pancake griddle, toaster oven, great for larger meals and baking. Enjoy tucking your snacks away in the mid-sized/small fridge and make a fresh brew in the coffee pot with reusable filter or tea kettle. Hand wash your dishes in the stainless steel double sink and enjoy the ample counter space and storage. The large toaster oven, perfect for whipping up the Thanksgiving Dinner for 2-3 people, is currently in Chinese (we used this as our main oven when we lived in Taiwan). It is pretty easy to figure out with the symbols but we are happy to help, if needed. The Bedroom: Fall into the cozy queen farmhouse bed and unpack into the full size dresser and ikea closet system. The Living Room: Grab a throw blanket and snuggle into your mid-century sofa while take in your stylish new digs. Keep up with your favorite shows with the brand new 50 inch smart TV located in the living room. Catch up on some laundry with the full size washer and dryer. Bathroom: Enjoy long hot baths in the recently renovated farmhouse bathroom with extra deep soaking tub and curved shower rod (for plenty of elbow room) Fire Pit: pick up some firewood and enjoy a romantic evening around your private fire area, soaking in the stars and Mountain View’s. Climate Control: The basement space has both central heat and air conditioning, however, there are no temperature controls. You will have to manually adjust (open and close) the air vents in your space to control your temperature. There is a bedroom ceiling fan and a portable fan but no space heaters. Since the basement is 50% below grade the temperature is usually quite pleasant year round. If you are very temperature or sensitive, have allergies, or chemical sensitivities this space may not be a good fit for you due to the shared HVAC system. In winter the whole house thermostats is set between 68-70. In summer the whole house thermostats is set between 73-75. Access: When you arrive please park in the main driveway to the left of our Volkswagen Jetta. You'll see the start of a walkway of stepping stones. Walk to the left of the house all the way around the house to the backside and you'll see your private entrance. Pets: We are pet friendly on a case by case basis. Restrictions apply so please contact us before requesting to book if you are traveling with a pet. Must provide pet age, weight, breed and a description of their demeanor. This space is only a fit for very quiet pets. Maximum size is 50lbs, short haired or non-shedding pets only. Your pet may not be left unattended and must be a very quiet type dog. Any stays over 28 days will require you to sign a standard NC lease agreement plus a cash security deposit. No pets are allowed for stays over 28 days unless you would like to place a $1000 refundable deposit. Guest access: This space as a private entrance with self check-in lock-box. Check-in: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Checkout: 11:00 AM Self check-in with lockbox Not suitable for children and infants No smoking No parties or events Pets are allowed Additional rules 1. Quiet hours are 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM 2. All guests must be 25 or older. 3. No guests or visitors. MAXIMUM of 2 guests. 4. $250 security deposit, rental agreement, and ID required at time of booking. Longer stays require larger security deposits. If you have at least 3+ good reviews from other hosts we will waive the security deposit. 5. Non-smokers only. 6. PETS MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE), max weight 50lbs. 7. Pets cannot be left unattended and should be the calm and quiet type, no whining or barking. Cats are accepted if they have a positive review on your profile or positive landlord reference. 8. No "third party bookings” the person who books must be the person who stays. 9. We are located in a beautiful country setting and guests must have a car to get around. 10. We do not rent to locals for a plethora of safety reasons. 11. Please be aware that you are renting a basement in our home and may hear common lower level noises such as water running, footsteps, and washing up of dishes. For fire safety reasons, there is not a deadbolt on the upper stairs door that would lead into our home but you may lock the handle :)
