Trinidad Artist and Healing Retreat with Hot Tub

The Barn in Trinidad is a great get away. It has a beautiful deck with hot tub overlooking the garden and redwoods. The private and artfully decorated home has a fully equipped kitchen, two custom tiled bathrooms and more. The property is 5 acres of mostly redwood forest with a creek running through it. You are just a few minutes drive into Trinidad town center and to the local beaches. Redwood National Park is a 40 minute drive north and Arcata/Cal Poly Humboldt is 15 minutes south. The space This property is a 4 acre property that is mostly redwood forest. There is a year long running creek in the front yard and it has a lovely sound when you are outside in the hot tub. There are manicured gardens around the house and it is an open area that allows for summer days with sunshine on the deck or croquet and games in the yard. My home is the last home on the road so you will pass a few properties on the way in but there is no traffic passing by during your stay. The privacy and solitude are lovely and yet you are just a 4 minute drive back into downtown Trinidad or onto the highway 101 if you need anything during your stay. Guest access Guests access the house via keys left in an igloo lock box. Other things to note My home has a third room that is used as a bedroom. The TV room/ 3rd bedroom was the old master bedroom and now has a Lazy boy sofa bed in that area. I bought this couch as the top of the line sofa bed for use when my parents came to visit me. The mattress is new memory foam that was bought for the 2024 season. This room has the only TV in the house. I have not made TV the focus of this home and hope you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the redwoods or family time with the indoor and outdoor games provided. This room can also be used as a yoga space and has part of my library in it. It is a private room separate from the rest of the house with a private sliding door that has access out to the deck and the hot tub.
