We welcome you to The Crowes Nest. This stylish cottage is perfect for families or small group trips. The Crowes Nest is a 3-bedroom contemporary cottage located on Crowe Lake in Marmora, Ontario. For those looking to escape the big city, The Crowes Nest is 2h20 drive from both Toronto and Ottawa. Our cottage is complete with luxury finishes and amenities (including a bunkie and a sauna) to ensure our guests have a relaxing experience away from home. The space A few highlights: • Private lakeside property with beautiful views and sunrises • Sauna • Bunkie for additional bedroom option during the summer months • Relax and enjoy a meal or drink on the deck and enjoy the views • Indoor wood burning fire place, to always keep cozy • Easily accessible. We are a 2hr20 min drive from both Toronto and Ottawa • The key access will be via a code on the front door. There will be a key in the lockbox as a backup should there be an issue Although we have great amenities, a reminder that this is not a party house. We’ve put a lot of effort into making The Crowes Nest into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests. We appreciate that there are many great pets, but we do not make exceptions. Thank you for understanding. Additional guests must be discussed and approved in advance. Overnight guests must be registered. Includes plates, glasses, cups, bowls etc. • 65" LG OLED Flat Screen TV • WIFI Highspeed Internet • Wide selection of board games • Linens, bath and beach towels • Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash provided. • 1 Full Bathroom (1 x bath, 1 x shower) • 3 Bedrooms (2 x Queen, 1 Twin, 1 Bunk bed) • Additional Bedroom option in Bunkie during Summer (1 x Queen, 1 twin daybed) House Amenities / Outdoors: • Private, spacious sauna off the Bunkie • BBQ and outdoor dining • Cross country skiing and skating on the lake (seasonal) - Bring your skiing/skating gear! • Fishing right off the dock or rent a boat if you have your boating license. Don’t forget your fishing gear! • We have fun water toys for kids of all ages including: kayaks, life jackets, floats for the lake and a large water mat About the House & Water: • The water in the house is safe to drink. We are on a well system, so please conserve the water. We also provide a Brita Water filter in the fridge for drinking. • The toilets are on a septic system, so please only flush supplied toilet paper. Everything else should be disposed of in the garbage. Guest access You will have access to most areas of the cottage. Area's that are not accessible will be locked. Other things to note Please note: There are Nest security cameras on the property. The locations are at the two entrance doors of the cottage. The cameras will be turned off when guests are occupying the space. The purpose of the cameras is ONLY for us to monitor the cottage when nobody is there.
