Alice- The Wonderland Experience

Enter Wonderland. Travel through the looking glass vortex to this unique artistically designed space full of whimsy. The canopy bed will have you sleeping like the Queen of Hearts, while the locally created mural art in the Cheshire Room gives you a perfect backdrop as a reading nook. The Eat Me/Drink Me snacks will await your arrival. Will you be able to fit through the tiny mouse doors to find even more adventure? Enjoy the mirrors on the ceiling while lounging on the fainting couch. The space The full kitchen will allow you to create a full Tea Party experience, and to dine at the large Mad Hatter’s table. The small bathroom is covered in the eucalyptus vines of Alice’s garden. Outside, dine in the rose garden under the solar lights. There is a washer and dryer in the building, which is free to use, and the WiFi is above 500 Mbps. Inquire about monthly rentals! This Victorian home was built in the year 1900. It has been separated into four completely separate apartments. Please ask about the availability of the others too! (Though Alice is the largest and most interesting.) Guest access You’ll be given a door code, so there’s no keys to lose. You have access to your apartment, the front porch, and the back yard. The front porch and back yard are shared with the guests in the other apartments too. Mail and packages are delivered to this address, but we really advise that you set up a PO Box at the Post Office or the UPS Store instead. Other things to note In accordance with our agreement with the building’s management company, upon booking we will ask you to sign a Temporary Occupancy Agreement via Docusign, as well as for a copy of your ID, and your email address. This is a safe area of town, but it is in a capital city. That means that you may hear normal city noises, like homeless people, traffic, garbage trucks, a train, or aircraft. We do provide earplugs for this reason. Although we have never had an issue, it is recommended to lock your car doors, as well as the apartment doors. There are several furniture and decor pieces in this apartment that are antique and/or vintage. Thus, they are cosmetically imperfect. They are not dirty; just antique. This apartment is on the bottom floor, so there are neighbors on top of you. We are two blocks from Salem Health, the State Capital, and Willamette University. One mile to downtown.
