Greenwich/ Hotel Alternative / Boutique Living
My place is close to the beach, family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, and the airport. You’ll love my place because of the kitchen, the coziness, the high ceilings, and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We allow non-shedding dogs please let us know prior to booking. There are 2/3 parking spaces(depends on sign of cars/trucks) on property and street parking. If you thought moving to the suburbs would result in sacrificing your shopping choices, you’d be mistaken if you relocated to Greenwich. The main shopping center, referred to by locals as "the Avenue" or Greenwich Avenue, has pretty much everything you would expect from a major metropolitan area. Some of Greenwich’s favorite spots are Lululemon, Restoration Hardware, Saks Fifth Avenue, Hermes, Zara, Vineyard Vines, Intermix, Tiffany & Co., Theory, Orvis, Tumi, and Baccarat (just to name a few). Meanwhile, should one need more, you are in close proximity to both the Westchester and Stamford shopping malls. Home to some of the best restaurants outside of New York City, Greenwich offers many excellent fine-dining options. Town favorites include Thomas Henkelmann’s Homestead Inn Restaurant, Rebecca’s, Polpo, L’escale, Gabrielle’s Italian Steakhouse, Valbella, Le Penguin, Mediterraneo, Le Fat Poodle, and Terra. Even the most discerning palates will be impressed by these offerings. If you are looking for more casual choices, there are also plenty of relaxed and family-friendly restaurants across Greenwich’s 67.2 square miles. Despite being located in another state, Greenwich is much closer than you would think to New York City. Some express trains between Greenwich and Grand Central Station take as little as 40 minutes each way. Some commutes within New York City may take longer than that! Greenwich’s large population of commuters is not a surprise, as the town benefits from a large number of train options as well as driving alternatives . There are actually 4 separate train stations in town (Greenwich, Cos Cob, Riverside, and Old Greenwich). In addition, the town is straddled by I-95 and the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) for additional ways to get into the city. Central Manhattan is a little more than 30 miles away by car. *Movie Rentals are not included!
