This cozy, freshly remodeled apt located in a 123 y.o. bldg in historic Deutschtown neighborhood offers great city views, a taste of history & the latest modern conveniences. Welcome! The space Close to downtown, The Strip District, Pittsburgh’s major sports stadiums, museums and art venues, yet quiet enough to hear birds & cicadas on our private grassy patio over the city humming. Located in one of the oldest buildings in the historic Deutschtown neighborhood in the North Side of Pittsburgh it represents a perfect yet quirky mix of historical preservation, the modern convenience and style. The building has just recently been thoroughly remodeled to utilize new, energy-efficient technologies in a 123 + years old structure.
The interior was re-designed by a European architect with beauty, convenience and safety in mind, as well as the historical preservation of the original structure. The apartment has individually controlled heat and AC to best fit our Guests’ preference. The layout: the main floor consists of the Living Room (entrance from the elevated front porch), Kitchen with the Dining Area and with the direct access to the grassy back Patio (shared with the other apartment in the building). From the Kitchen the stairs lead to the upper level with 2 Bedrooms, Hallway and the Bathroom. Both floors have a beautiful view of the city skyline.
The larger Bedroom has a Queen size bed, a full closet and a relaxing area w/a coffee table and 2 chairs.
The smaller Bedroom has a 2-person sleeper sofa, a small workstation (a desk w/a chair) and a clothes/luggage rack.
There is another 2-person sleeper sofa in the Living Room.

The Bathroom: has a state-of-the art LED-lit, energy-efficient shower unit and a nice view of the cityscape.
Toiletries (soaps, shampoo etc.) as well as towels are provided. The Bathroom has its own electric heater, operated and controlled directly from within. 
Kitchen & Dining Area:
 The Kitchen is fully equipped with the modern appliances: European- style induction cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, range hood, fridge/ freezer, microwave oven, cappuccino and coffee makers, plus: a toaster, a toaster oven, a smoothie-maker, a mixer etc.
A variety of cooking and serving dishes and utensils is also provided, as well as basic cleaning supplies.
As a courtesy to our Guests we provide complimentary snacks and drinks (variety of teas, coffee, bottled water) as well as some basic non-perishable food (pasta, sauce etc. and condiments (olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, sugar, ketchup etc). 
If you wish to unwind and pamper yourself, there’s a spa (“Royalties”) just 400 ft away. PATIO:
During warmer season we welcome our Guests to use our cozy, fenced in grassy patio (shared with the neighboring apartment) for relaxing, sunbathing, dining and cooking (a small bbq grill w/utensils available). The access to the patio is directly from the kitchen. ENTERTAINMENT AND CONNECTIVITY:
The apartment offers free Wi-fi.
There is a 32” Smart TV in the Living Room. No cable, but you can log into any of your preferred networks (Netflix, Hulu, Prime etc.) with your own online credentials.
There are also Bluetooth speakers located in main rooms for you to enjoy your own music, podcasts etc. directly from your smartphone.
We have also included a variety of games and books about our area for those wishing to take a break from cyberspace. LAUNDRY:
There is a dedicated laundry area on the lowest floor (accessed directly from the Living Room, including: washer, dryer & a sink), along with basic laundry essentials (detergent, dryer sheets), all available for free to our Guests. Guest access The apartment has a keyless entry for the comfort, privacy and security of our Guests. However, if you wish to meet with us in person we’ll be happy to arrange it, as we reside close by. Our standard check in starts at 3 pm and check out is by noon.
If you need an earlier check in or later check-out please contact us at least 24 hrs in advance- unless there’s a conflict w/directly preceding or following reservation we’ll be happy to fulfill all reasonable requests. Other things to note CLEANING FEE One-time cleaning fee is $70. PETS: As long-time pet owners we totally understand and respect the need to travel with one’s pet.
 Dogs (up to 2) are welcome to stay for free.
 While we welcome your dog(s) both indoors and outdoors, please keep in mind that our grassy patio is not pets’ bathroom- please dispose of any of their „accidents” immediately and appropriately.
