Excited to offer this space to travelers! We have fun with some color. Queen bed in the first bedroom, XL twin beds in the back bedroom. Great location! Close to stylish, revitalized downtown Rockford with terrific restaurants, night life, shops, and galleries. Upper unit in vintage 4 family with long term tenant below and I live in the other upper. Absolutely no parties. Only registered guests. No smoking inside or outside on the property. Violation results in $1000 cleaning fee/poor review The space This is an upper unit. A flight of stairs is required to enter by its private entrance. Please note it has the original claw foot bathtub enclosed in tile. May be an issue for those with mobility issues. Again the building is well maintained but built nearly 100 years ago. There are some creaks in the floors and walls are not 100 % sound proof but so much better than most hotels. Not recommend for small children due to stairs The unit is furnished with many fine vintage restored pieces and art from my collection. The hardwood floors are newly refinished and gorgeous. The kitchen is large and has an eat-in table and a couple chairs. Laundry available for stays 1 week plus Absolutely no smoking of any kind inside or outside the property. No unaccompanied minors. Please give actual number for guests that are staying. Due to insurance and City of Rockford regulations, only registered guests allowed on property. We want you to feel at home but please also respect others living in the building as far as noise after 10 pm. Thank you! Guest access You have the entire upper apartment. It is a quiet building with long term tenants including myself. I feel very safe and secure here as someone is usually always at home in the building. There is parking in the front driveway. There is a keypad at the front door for flexible and convenient access. Other things to note I have a small black spaniel named Chulo.and a red mutt named Henna. They are quiet and love people. If you need a doggie fix while you are here they would be happy to stop by for some love.
