Wine Country Oasis “Cabernet Room” is a 3rd offering of accommodations by this host. The space Welcome to Wine Country Oasis Syrah and Cabernet private rooms! Our economy suites are intended to be a no frills, economical stay for those wanting to enjoy the Verde Valley, Sedona, and surrounding areas and do so with economy, safety, and comfort in mind. It is expected that guests will spend more time away from the accommodations enjoying the outdoor beauty that this area has to offer and return to a safe, comfortable, bed at the end of the day. Your comfort and joy are important to the owner. You can expect little interaction with the owner unless you have needs. There are 2 loving orange tabby cats on premise which are not allowed in the upstairs guest area. Below are some guidelines and information intended for you and other guests to maximize the joy of your stay: Notification: Please call or text me at 480.258.0795 to let me know when you are 30 minutes from arrival. Getting there: The address is 585 E. Calle De La Rosa in Camp Verde AZ 86322. We are about 15 minutes and 11 miles from the intersection of I-17 & SR260 or less if you are coming North on I17 an d Exit General Crook Road. Go East on SR260 past the first turn-about and past the first stop light at Finney Flats to the second right at Oasis-at this point you are about 4 miles away. Continue on Oasis as it wraps around to Salt Mine Road. Turn right and go anther 3 miles passing gorgeous horse properties just past East Vista Drive and look for a large white mailbox on the left-that Calle De La Rosa. Turn left and go to the end of the gravel road about 500 feet to Wine Country Oasis. Parking: All parking is in the front area of the main home. There are 2 spaces on the West-the one on th right is reserved for the Main AirBnB guests (please do not park here) and so the one on the left looking West is for either Economy guest. Overflow would be parking in front just past the front entrance. Please park to the far right to allow use of the circle as possible and PLEASE STAY ON THE RED BRICK DRIVE SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE SPRINKLERS. Door Access: All guest access is through the front door only. There is a keypad lock-I will text or mail the code combination before you arrive. I change it often for security purposes. To enter, type in the 4-digit code provided and turn the lock knob counterclockwise to unlock and press the thumb rekease. Upon entering and unloading your items please always lock the door for your security and everyone else’s and PLEASE do not let the cats out. We are located in a safe, country area and have never experienced any safety issues however safety first always! When exiting, please enter the 4 digit key code and turn the lock clockwise to lock and verify that the door is locked behind you. Please never leave the front door unlocked. Fourier: I prefer that my guests all remove their shoes once in the house (unless you otherwise have a medical or safety concern). Please leave shoes and jackets at the racks provided at the front door. Guests are strictly limited to the Fourier and upstairs areas only. Guests are not allowed any other access in the owner’s areas of the house. Slippers and sweaters are recommend for cold weather months as everyone needs for temperature is different. Cooking and food preparation: Wine Country Oasis Economy suites are not intended for guest cooking however, there is a small refrigerator, hot water kettle, blender, and toaster oven for light guest use. Please monitor carefully so as not to burn food causing smoke alarms or discomfort to other guests. Please, no noxious foods. There is no microwave. Please plan to enjoy your meals out with snacks in or light breakfasts using available items. Owner has provided disposable plates, cups, and cutlery if needed. Please be considerate of others and clean up after yourself at all times and do not leave your personal items in the common areas. Washer and Dryer Use-no washer or dryer use is available for economy guests unless long term and by prior special arrangement. Local Shopping and restaurants: Camp Verde has a Basha’s Grocery Store (on Finney Flats), nice restaurants and several chain restaurants, a few bars, Casino, Wineries (2 nearby), bakery, massage, barbers, etc. nearby. You can easily Google these or ask the owner for recommendations. Hiking and Outdoor Fun: Camp Verde, Sedona, and the surrounding Verde Valley has a lot to offer in terms of outdoor fun from sightseeing, hiking, mountain biking, river kayaking, hot air ballon rides, wineries, art, Out-of Africa, Zip Lines, and more. Some if it is seasonal and some affected by covid so please do your own research to plan your trip for maximum joy. Rules for Comfort and Enjoyment: Because the two upstairs private rooms are intended to be shared by more than one party at a time in a common living space, guests are asked to be courteous to others limiting sources of noise (phone ring tones, loud conversation, etc. Quiet times are 9PM to 6 AM. The owner works from home on premise and so can be expected to conduct virtual (ZOOM) business meetings anytime between 8 AM-5PM. Owner may also have personal guests over but will also observe the same quiet hour policy. Please do not adjust the temperature thermostat in the hallway-if adjustments are needed then let owner know . There are extra blankets in the hall closed as needed. Small area heaters can be provided as requested. Common Bathroom Consideration: As the Private Rooms will share a full bath, please do not leave personal items in the bathroom and please keep this area very clean, neat, and fresh for consideration of others. Please be considerate of others when taking showers as it could take awhile to heat the water between users. The house in on a septic and water well systems and so please nothing in the toilets except TP (no feminine products please!). There are extra towels and TP in the hall closet. Other Accessible Areas: Guests are allowed to use the front deck and barista table for relaxation, limited food, and wine with sunsets. I do have a mini-bbq for guest use if desired. If the guests would like use of the backyard please let the owner know and he will show you how to access. Check-in and Check-out: As per the AirBnB advertisement, check-in is 5-9 PM and check-out is before 11 AM unless otherwise approved in advance by owner. Guest access Guests may access the upstairs loft area through the main front entrance and also have access to the backyard grassy area and the neighborhood for nice walks in the country, and the nearby Verde River. During your stay The owner is very sociable and is available as needed by guests but also respects the quiet and privacy needs of guests. Other things to note Wine Country Mini Oasis is intended to be an economy priced alternative for those seeking fun in nearby Sedona and the Verde Valley area. The guests suites are intended for quiet and comfort for those guests that plan to spend most of their stay venturing outdoors.
