This property is located on the Oconaluftee River 1/4 of a mile up the subdivision mountain from Highway 19. This recently renovated home is entered through the living room which offers an open floor plan complete with kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and cookware to use during your stay. Also in the kitchen is a large closet to store pantry items and where the washer and dryer is located. Three high top chairs are located at the bar area in the kitchen and the dining room has seating for four. The living room has a gas fireplace, 55' mounted TV, 2 swivel chairs, and a sofa lounger which lowers to offer additional sleeping accommodations for 2 guests. The 2 bedrooms are on opposites sides of the home which offer privacy. At the end of the hallway on each side of the home is where the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located. Each bedroom offers a queen bed, mounted 43' TV, and large closet space. Adjacent to each bedroom is a full bath. Just outside the kitchen through the sliding glass door is the large covered porch overlooking the Oconaluftee River. There are rocking chairs and tables for you and your guests to enjoy the scenery as well as your morning coffee or a beverage in the evenings. Also on the porch is a gas grill with free propane tanks provided along with a 4-person hot tub. Walking a short distance off the porch is a fire pit with free firewood and wooden benches for seating. The home is located just 5 miles from Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, 20 miles from the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and 10 miles from Bryson City, home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
