“Hello from the beautiful Black Forest! We’re delighted that you’re interested in our cozy, smoke-free home. Join us for a short tour of House 5! After an eventful day, the living room area is the perfect place to unwind. A small stereo system with a selection of classical, pop, and rock CDs is available for music lovers. As a special extra, we’ve provided a high-quality Yamaha keyboard with a user guide for you. If you’d like, you can bring your favorite movies and play them on the DVD player or simply flip through the extensive TV lineup. For a media-free evening on vacation, we offer a collection of games and books. The open kitchen is fully equipped. In addition to standard appliances—including four stovetop burners, an oven, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment—there’s a microwave with a grill function and a dishwasher. The house has a total of five sleeping spots: a double room with two single beds that can be pushed together, a single room, and a loft accessible by ladder with two mattresses. Both bedrooms have roller shutters. You can darken the loft with an opaque curtain.A safe is available for your valuables. We have a travel crib and a high chair for your children. The sleeping loft is suitable for children ages five and up. The bathroom is small but nice. The walk-in shower can be used easily even by people with mobility issues. A hair dryer and a magnifying mirror round out the amenities. The covered patio with a table and chairs lets you sit outdoors in the fresh air, no matter the weather. The Gegg Family The Öfingen vacation village is situated in a magnificent location on a steeply sloping foothill of the southern Black Forest. It offers a wonderful panoramic view across the Baar Plateau— 600-900 meters above sea level—with the town of Donaueschingen in the distance, all the way to the Feldberg and the Bernese Alps.  Each of the 130 vacation homes, ranging in size from approximately 40 to 90 m², features 1 to 2 bedrooms, a living room with cable TV, a shower/toilet, a fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner electric stove and oven, a coffee maker, refrigerator, etc., a furnished sun terrace, and a storage room. Includes 1 travel crib and 1 high chair. All vacation homes offer free Wi-Fi internet access. Centrally located parking spaces ensure that car traffic remains minimal. The kiosk offers fresh bakery items, beverages, newspapers, and magazines. Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
