Hwy 12 (White Pass Scenic Byway) is a major artery between the I-5 corridor and eastern side of WA, and the state keeps it VERY WELL PLOWED. The bungalow is 0.1 mi. from Hwy 12, on the same road plowing rotation as downtown Packwood. Regardless, it is important to carry chains in the winter, because you won't be allowed access to White Pass Ski area without them.
