Rivers Cottage

The Rivers Cottage, is a sweet getaway on the edge of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The cottage is surrounded by miles of trails in the Tatoosh Wilderness, it is located 35 minutes from White Pass Ski area and a half an hour from the Mt. Rainier Stevens Canyon Entrance. The space offers a safe and comfortable cottage feel, an art studio, top of the line hot tub, BBQ and outdoor fireplace. The space The Rivers Cottage features a fully equipped kitchenette with everything you'll need to prepare meals for up to four guests including french press coffee with beans freshly roasted either from our local Coffee Roasters at Mountain Goat Coffee or from Ember Goods roasters out of Olympia, WA and a great selection of teas. There is also a convection microwave, 2 induction cook tops, full size refrigerator, Vitamix blender, slow cooker, toaster oven with Airfryer. Pots and pans, dishes, silverware, bakeware, spices and linens are all provided. Also hair dryer, iron and ironing board plenty of hangers in large closet. shampoo, conditioner, body wash and laundry soap provided. The main bedroom with bathroom, has a great king sized bed the second bedroom has a queen bed, the couch in the living room is also great for sleeping a wee one. Travel crib available also. Wireless internet is provided, Netflix, Hulu and Blu-ray player to play on a medium sized flat screen television, DVD's to choose from. Games and books for your leisure also provided. A small electric fireplace with radiant heated floors keep your stay cozy. A ceiling fans are in the living room and master bedroom. Portable air conditioner in master bedroom during summer months. You will find the water here excellent, tested monthly with very high ratings and no chemicals. The back yard has an outdoor furniture for your relaxing time in the fresh air. Enjoy making your favorite meal on the gas BBQ grill. Soak in the hot tub (Clean and yes it works great!). Create something unique in the Art Studio- river rocks are fun to paint! Bring your briefcase and work away- the wifi works great. Take a stroll on the trails out back and walk all day if you want in the beautiful Tatoosh Wilderness. Go across the street to the River Access Trail and explore the beautiful river and mountain views. Head up to White Pass in the winter to get a great day of skiing in. Head up to Mt. Rainier and fill your heart with wonder over one of the most beautiful places in the Nation. Note: the art studio, and hot tub are shared with one other Airbnb house on the property. Guest access You have access to everything in the Cottage. There are not locked doors or cabinets. The area next to the cottage with the small table and BBQ are exclusive to your use. There is some shared space such as the larger table more central in the garden area as well as the Art Studio.
