Bordering Tuscany with spectacular sweeping views across forests and olive groves through the Tiber Valley towards the Apennine mountains the spacious, luxury cottage and large, landscaped garden are private and tranquil, yet only a short walk from the historic, lively town centre. Famed for its palazzo's, churches, frescos, restaurants, artisan stores, cookery schools & festivals. Here days can be spent relaxing in nature or exploring the regions famed hilltop towns, vineyards or thermal spas. The space From the outside the picturesque cottage made of Città della Pieve's renowned red brick retains its ancient character, But on the inside you'll find a modern, spacious, open plan format that makes it the perfect place for family or friends to gather, or for a couples romantic getaway. The cottage offers a full chefs kitchen, high quality appliances and cookware, along with a spacious dining area and comfortable lounge with a Scan, egg shaped wood burner and smart T.V. with streaming service and complimentary Netflix. Whilst during the summer months you can also enjoy a refreshing dip in your own 4x2 meter above-ground saltwater pool. Or drench under the solar-heated shower in your large, private, landscaped garden. Indoors another comfort is the modern bathroom with powerful rain shower - Along with spacious, air conditioned bedrooms, each with integrated phone charging stations, blackout shutters, plenty of closet space and high quality linens. While throughout the cottage south facing windows flood the rooms with light and offer uninterrupted views of the spectacular countryside bringing to mind the famed landscapes of the renaissance artist Il Perugino. Cottage guests can also dine outdoors year-round, using the Weber BBQ and large travertine-marble dining table. Or perhaps during the cooler months (December-March) snuggle up with throws and blankets to roast chestnuts beside the pot bellied garden stove immersed in the beautiful colours of the changing landscape. The large, private, landscaped garden offers various comfortable seating areas in sunny and shaded outlooks where you can while away the hours in peace and comfort with a good book or in good company. Whilst the elevated terrace with birchwood swing seat is the perfect place for an aperetivo at sunset. Or at sunrise for meditative yoga or pilates to the sound of birdsong as the valley awakes. Guest access Grove Cottage guests enjoy on-site parking and exclusive use of the large, fenced, landscaped garden, saltwater pool and solar shower (seasonal). However please note: If the reservation is for 2 guests you will only have access to one of the two bedrooms, Either the twin or queen sized. So please advise in advance which you'd prefer. The Pool: The above ground 4x2 meter saltwater pool is seasonal, and dependant on the weather is open late May to Mid September. Air Conditioning; At Grove Cottage it is all-about peace, tranquility and wellbeing.
