This fully remodeled, top (3rd) floor, 3-bedroom 2 bathroom condo is conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg. The condo features a cozy wood burning fireplace and a built-in window seat overlooking the beautiful mountain vistas. The private Spectrum WiFi is excellent and there are Smart TVs in each bedroom and the living room! The condo features: -master bedroom with a queen sized bed -second bedroom with two twin beds -3rd bedroom (a loft) with a queen bed -excellent private Spectrum Wi-Fi -65" TCL Roku Smart TV in the living room -55" TCL Roku Smart TVs in each of the three bedrooms -all tv's have cable access via the Spectrum App on the TV. You can also log into your favorite streaming programs directly on the TVs -a cozy wood burning fireplace (firewood not provided, but is available during business hours at the condo office) -a built-in window seat overlooking the beautiful mountain vistas -seating in dining area for 6 guests (4 regular chairs, 2 folding chairs) While staying at Summit of Gatlinburg, you'll have access to community amenities including: -the clubhouse has an indoor pool and and two in-ground hot tubs. -seasonal (early April to late October), heated outdoor swimming pool -picnic area with two gas grills and picnic tables -a small playground for children -a small game area with a few coin operated arcade games -a basketball hoop -coin-operated laundry **Note these amenities are managed by the condo complex and are outside our control. No refunds will be provided if these aren't available during your stay. Please Note: *The Summit of Gatlinburg is a pet-free complex. No pets of any size are allowed on the property *No smoking in the unit, on the deck, or in stairwells *There is NO ELEVATOR; multiple flights of stairs required to get to our 3rd floor unit (steps down from parking lot, then steps up to 3rd floor) *Firewood is seasonally available for purchase in season from the office. Full Duraflame logs not allowed as they can burn through the fireplace liner. Small starter logs are okay *Bears are common spring to fall, do not feed or approach bears *Do not leave food in cars bears can open car doors. *There is no wall phone in the unit; wi-fi cell phone use works well if your cell service isn't good in unit *Please bring beach/pool towels as they are not provided *If you purchase Great Smoky Mountain National Park, parking passes online before your visit, you need to print them off and bring them with you. *We recommend purchasing travel insurance in case you would need to cancel your trip outside of the free cancellation window. Travel issues can arise for a wide array of reasons, and we don't provide refunds outside our booking policy. Refund Notice: *If you cancel a single night of your trip, be aware that we price nights differently and we'll refund the nightly rate for that specific nights, less any non-refundable booking fees that is charged to us as the owner based on the initial booking amount. The AirBnB fees and taxes would need to be discussed directly with AirBnB. Guest access Each guest will have the entire condo unit to themselves. This unit is in a condo complex. The entry into the building and up to the unit are shared with other units in the condo. There is NO ELEVATOR; multiple flights of stairs required to get to our 3rd floor unit. There are steps down from the parking lot to the ground level, and steps up to 3rd floor. Other things to note All roads leading up to the Summit of Gatlinburg are paved, marked, full two lanes (i.e., cars can pass each other without pulling off), and in great condition. The Summit of Gatlinburg Condos are at the top of the mountain, so you do have to drive up the mountain to get there. The roads are curvy and uphill/ downhill, but our front wheel drive minivan easily makes the trip (i.e., you don't need AWD or a 4x4). One route down the mountain takes you to the National Park side of downtown Gatlinburg, or take a different route down to access the Gatlinburg bypass to head to Pigeon Forge (or the other end of downtown Gatlinburg). One tricky intersection for directions, is when you are coming via the Gatlinburg Bypass route and are on Campbell Lead Rd. There is a 4-way stop that GPS will typically say Left on Wiley Oakley. The correct path is really more going straight and slightly angled to the left. You do NOT want to turn hard left . Weather Warning: This complex is located in a mountain area, so, in winter it can snow. The city of Gatlinburg plows the streets up to the condo, but that is based on their timing. The condo complex plows the parking lot, but access to do that, could be limited based on whether Gatlinburg has plowed the roads to the complex.
