This home is just a short drive from the famous New River, Grayson Highlands State Park, small-town West Jefferson, and the Virginia Creeper Trail. Reading corner, outdoor seating, two porches, large field, fire pit, brand new kitchen and bathrooms, new flooring and paint throughout, new washer and dryer—original fireplace and walls. Our stocked creek is steps away from the home and perfect for fishing lovers! As you pull into the driveway, you will notice a charming front porch with ample seating to drink your morning coffee and gaze at the cattle across the road. When parking, you will see we also have a back porch with seating and a gas grill for your cooking needs. Past the house and towards the creek, we have a firepit with string lights and seating right next to a relaxing stream. Please bring your firewood. When walking into our home, you will notice our wholly updated kitchen, a large dining table, bistro table, and coffee bar, perfect for your whole family to enjoy! The fully stocked kitchen is complete with cookware and kitchen utensils. On either side of the kitchen are two full bathrooms and a laundry closet to the right. Walking through the kitchen, you will find our comfy living room with a couch, loveseat, and a reading nook. A large TV hangs above the home's original fireplace, supplied with electric logs. Finally, you will notice the home's monitor heater. The first floor also consists of our first bedroom with a king-size bed, storage armoire, and TV. If you are working remotely, this room has a writer's desk. A unique feature in this room is the completely original walls from the construction of the home. Heading up the large staircase, you will notice a quilt rack with extra blankets and bedrooms to both the left and right. The upstairs bedrooms are similar in that they both have queen beds, large dressers, and comfortable oversized chairs. Walking through both bedrooms, you will notice doors that lead into our two small twin bedrooms, complete with a daybed, nightstand, and lamp. Our home comfortably sleeps eight guests with a maximum occupancy of 10. Due to this home's location, there is only one WiFi provider that services the area. We do provide WiFi. However, it can sometimes be unreliable. If you MUST have fast WiFi, we suggest you bring your hotspot. If not, we hope you will enjoy the great outdoors, and all this area has to offer! *Note: Due to the home’s age, both of the bathrooms are on the main-level. Guest access Guests have full access to the home. Other things to note Crate-trained dogs are allowed with a $100 pet fee per pet. The hot tub is winterized from November through March.
