Spisidda House - Lipari Studio - Near Gioiosa Marea
Description
SPISIDDA is a small private village, a single structure nestled on a hill 60 meters above sea level, set in a garden of olive, citrus, and almond trees facing the Aeolian Islands: Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Stromboli, Panarea, Filicudi, and Alicudi. SPISIDDA is magical, just like its name, which in Sicilian means “spark” or “ember from the fireplace.” From the loggias, terraces, and windows, you can enjoy a 360-degree view: the sea in front and the green hills behind. Casa Spisidda features 4 accommodations: 3 studio apartments—named Lipari, Vulcano, and Panarea—and 1 two-room apartment, Salina. Stays are typically from Saturday to Saturday. Each unit has its own private entrance and is fully furnished. Lipari is a studio apartment that sleeps two (two singles or one double bed) - separate entrance - access from the garden via a small staircase - fully furnished, equipped, and accessorized - air-conditioned with heating and cooling depending on the season, plus a ceiling fan for particularly sweltering days - bath, bed, and kitchen linens provided. Beach towels and bathrobes available for an additional fee - kitchenette with stovetop, sink with hot/cold water, and refrigerator with small freezer - 4-seat dining table inside - bathroom with hot/cold water and a spacious shower (with timed faucets for water conservation) - large panoramic terrace in “Aeolian” style, covered with “incannucciato” (reed wickerwork), seating, and a table for 4 to 8 people - shared use of a barbecue and an outdoor post-beach shower (hot water with a timer-controlled faucet) - individual clothesline in a designated area of the garden - parking space in the private parking lot located outside the entrance gate - for stays longer than one week, a full change of linens - for stays longer than one week, use of the washing machine up to 2 times per week
