Airstream at Bearpen Mtn; on hiking trails!

Enjoy glamping fun while reconnecting with nature. Hike from the front door at this unique escape. A glamping experience in a 28 ft. 2023 Airstream Flying Cloud. Miss Pickle is a one bedroom, 1 bath escape at the base of Bearpen Mountain camping on our rural upstate property from May to October. Enjoy dining and relaxing under the stars filled skies. A comfortable stay overlooking the mountains, wildflower and tall grass fields, awaits. 10 minutes to supermarket & Prattsville Tavern. The space Beautifully appointed 2023 28 ft. Airstream Flying Cloud model with rear twin beds. Fully equipped kitchen with indoor/outdoor cooking area. All you need to enjoy your time in the woods on a mountaintop, away from it all. We are located on 4 private acres at 2000 ft elevation with sweeping views of the Catskill Mountains. Firewood and ingredients for s’mores are supplied along with a welcome gift. Guest access Use of the property includes the yard and driveway near the Airstream, private fire pit area, private picnic table, and fold out camping chairs. Fire pit comes with wood for your fires. We supply firewood and s’mores ingredients! Above ground salt water pool is a shared area with other guests and is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm. Use at own risk, there is no life guard on duty. Rules include: no food, no glass, no music; enjoy the sounds of nature. There is another Airbnb on the 4 acre property with a maximum occupancy of two guests. It is on the opposite side of the property. The only shared area is the pool. Other things to note There are no keys for the airstream. This is a camping experience and we suggest taking valuables with you. However it is an extremely remote and safe area. Pets NO pets. The camper is not designed for pets as the risk of something breaking or damage incurring is too great. Occupancy (2) people or less Comfort The camper has small shower 30 inches X 30 inches, and twin beds are 34 inches wide. Guests who are larger than 6’ 2” tall and weigh more than 240 lbs. will feel cramped in the shower, bathroom and beds. Comfort of our guests is paramount and we recommend seeking other accommodations. Wildlife Food containers and coolers are not to be left outside or in your vehicle as they will attract bears and other wildlife. All food must be placed in the refrigerator and not left on counters of the camper to prevent attracting bears. After using grill it must be cleaned and grease put into container provided and host will dispose of it. Saltwater Pool Guests are invited to use the seasonal above ground saltwater pool, a new addition for the 2023 season. Towels are provided and hours are 10 am to 4 pm. Pool rules are printed and are located in the Airstream. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, sometimes later into September, depending on the weather. Bikes Please do not lean anything against the Airstream as it can scratch the veneer. We can store your bikes in our garage. Checking in We require a check in time before 9 pm. Please provide a realistic time of arrival given your schedule and anticipated traffic. We greet you when you arrive to go over details on how to use the Airstream.. you cannot check you in without a review of Airstream operations. The check in process is quick and is designed to make you comfortable during your stay. Electric Vehicle Charging Our electric grid currently doesn’t support this and if a vehicle is plugged in, both vehicle and our property could be at risk for surges. We cannot accommodate EV charging at this time.
