Enjoy the summer pleasure of being on an up-north lake. The cottage is located on beautiful Goodrich Lake which is two hours north of the Twin Cities. Very clean and clear lake with sandy bottom for all your lake activities. Enjoy local eateries and shopping in local towns of Nisswa, Crosslake and Crosby. The space Cozy cottage with a vintage vibe and wonderful view of the lake, all the necessary essentials to make your Northern MN stay very memorable. There is a unique boat house near the dock to store your beach toys, cooler and your fishing equipment. This 2-bedroom, one bath cottage is located at the end of the quiet paved road giving your stay extra privacy and peaceful family time. The outside patio gives you an extra dining area with a great view of the lake. The indoor space includes a porch with a gas fireplace. Amenities during your stay include WIFI, central AC and heat, new appliances, DVD player with assorted movies, CD player, smart Sony tv, lakeside patio with table set, charcoal grill and an outside fire ring. The cottage is tastefully decorated with a vintage up-north theme. The kitchen is well equipped with new cookware, Keurig coffee maker and a supplied pantry for all your cooking needs. New is a vintage kids bunkhouse, sleeps two and is perfect for a that lake vacation memories. Wake up to the sounds of early morning loon calls, watch eagles flying over the dock or enjoy the tranquility of the morning sunrise from the dock. Across the lake is the Cuyuna Boy Scout camp and an undeveloped DNR property which makes for a terrific scenic view as well as limits boat traffic. Sitting on the dock with your favorite refreshment, a leisurely kayak ride around the lake, bike ride or a walk surrounded by majestic pines are all at your doorstep. Goodrich lake is known for its great pan and bass fishing, and available for your use is a 14’ aluminum fishing boat with an electric or gas motor. Also, two kayaks , two bikes and a canoe are available to guests. Located 5 miles from the city of Crosslake, close proximity to grocery and hardware stores, local eateries and shopping. Also, centrally located to the towns of Nisswa and Crosby for day trips. Golfers will enjoy the close proximity to several of the most popular golf courses on the Brainerd Trail. Take advantage of the winter months too. Enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling on groomed trails, snow showing and/or relaxing around the gas fireplace in the porch. Three pairs of snowshoes available in the winter. No matter what the season, the cottage has everything you need to make your up-north visit memorable.
