LYKKE (pronounced as "lu-kuh") is a Danish word that means joy and happiness. Once you enter inside the beautiful Cabin LYKKE, you'll see why this is the perfect way to name it. There's something truly special about staying in a cozy, warm space while watching a running brook just feet away through a full-wall window -- especially if you got that special someone to share the experience with. The space Perfect for two people, our Nordic inspired Cabin LYKKE provides you with a bedroom-in-nature concept featuring a full-wall window, relaxation nook, full kitchenette, along with a luxury, hotel-quality queen bed. Everything you need to be comfortable and cozy -- nothing you don't. Come to Lumen and create happy memories! Other things to note Please note that you are booking a Luxury Nordic Cabin in nature. We’ve worked hard to make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Every cabin is set on its own private site and they are separated from each other by trees, but you will see other guests around you. Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. We offer an early check-in option for an additional fee, this fee must be paid and approved before the arrival. If any of the guests within the group Check-in earlier or check out later outside of the official check-in and check-out time, there will be a fine of $50 automatically charged to the payment method used for the reservation. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm - 6:30am. Please respect all of our guests and refrain from playing loud music and disrupting other guests during these hours. Campfires are authorized by management. We adhere to all County, State and Federal fire bans and as a private campground, we reserve the right to ban fires at any time. Fires are only permitted in designated fire rings and pits. Do not move the fire rings. All fires must be attended to at ALL TIMES and must be fully extinguished at bedtime or when not present. Guests are required to use fireplaces, firepits, stoves, and burners strictly according to the provided instructions. Use of these items is entirely at the guest’s own risk. By using them, guests acknowledge and accept that Lumen Nature Retreat assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries, damages, or accidents resulting from their use. Guests are advised to exercise caution and follow all safety guidelines. Lumen Nature Retreat is a dog-friendly Campground. All dogs must be announced prior to the stay and the $50 fee for up to 2 dogs must be paid prior to the arrival. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per site. Other animals are not permitted. All dogs must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Any dangerous behavior on behalf of the dogs towards other guests can lead to a cancellation of the remainder of your stay without a refund. Please clean up after your dog. Failure to do so will result in a $100 fine and will be strictly enforced. Never leave your dog(s) unattended in a tent, your trailer or at your site. You are financially responsible for any damage done by your dog(s). Lastly, please note that we are not responsible for the discomforts of nature (including but not limited to weather, bugs, etc). Wear long sleeves, protect yourself against sunburn and bugs, and drink plenty of liquids while you’re here.
