Perched in the Lap of nature on a 5 Lake Chain DHC(4 season) is your ultimate retreat in heart of Ontario's cottage country. 5 mins walk to the Marina in Haliburton where you can rent Pontoon boat, speed boat Paddle boards. Deers/ducks pass through. The cottage is ideal for families with kids, couples and small groups. ~2.25h from GTA. The space - 1 King(private room) - sleeps 2 - 1 Queen(private room) - sleeps 2 - 1 Queen(private room) - sleeps 2 - 1 day bed(den) - sleeps 2 Guest access - Cottage - Backyard - Lakefront - Fire Pit Note: Guests are not permitted to access the Basement. Other things to note Check out our other cottage Moksha Cotttage - if you have a bigger group. - If you use the BBQ, please be sure to empty and clean the drip pan. - All garbage must be dumped at Haliburton Landfill, 4 minute drive from our place. For timings please check Dysart website or contact the host. You must buy a land fill pass at the landfill - $5.00. Please read more information at the link below. - The property is on a slope which can be difficult for people with disabilities or mobility issues to go down to the docker/fire pit. However, there's a ramp on the south-east end of the property that can be less slope to go down to enjoy the dock and fire pit. - There's only one portable A/C in the house on the second floor - that's where it's required. However, rest of the house have portable FANS and ceiling FANS in the house. We encourage that you open screened windows of the house to let the natural breeze in into the house which regulates the temperature pretty well as the property is pretty close to the trees at the back in the summer. - The property is 4 season and it has furnace to heat the house. - You must sign a liability waiver and rental agreement with check-in check-out instructions which will be sent to you closer to your stay. PS: The dock is removed from the water in mid October and put back on in April or May
