Description
It’s all about location. This most delightful, attractive seaside detached house with a large balcony, is in a superb seafront position with outstanding panoramic sea views of Lyme Bay, on the Jurassic Coast. It’s situated in an excellent holiday spot with just a few steps across the Esplanade to the magnificent mile-long beach for swimming, water sports, rock pooling, fishing or just lazing in a deck chair. Or you can just kick back on your private balcony. The space A nautical theme runs throughout the property and there are sea views from all the principal rooms. Enter into the hall and you’ll find that the lounge is most comfortable and well furnished, with its gas fire, Smart TV and multiple seating spots. There’s a small dining table here with views out to sea and then a larger table in the panelled dining room. The well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and is a light and airy space to create tasty suppers. Finishing the ground floor is a useful shower room. Take the stairs from the dining room to the first floor where you’ll find all the bedrooms with sea views. The first double room has a TV and additional cane furniture to enjoy the view. The second bedroom is also a double and then there are two singles. All rooms are serviced by a shower room and the balcony, which can be accessed from both double rooms, has stunning sea views across the Bay to Haven Cliff and Beer Head. Sit out here and take in the glorious vistas. The front paved garden and rear courtyard are both enclosed. There’s a garden bench in the courtyard. Conveniently just 500 metres to the local shops in one direction and pretty Axmouth Harbour with its yacht club and cliff-top golf course in the other. Walk along by the River Axe to the pretty village of Axmouth (1 mile) with two local inns. Nearby is the famous Seaton tramway, which runs along the beautiful River and Valley (a bird watcher’s paradise) to Colyford and the market town of Colyton (2 miles). There are superb walks along the South West Coast Path; one way takes you to nearby Lyme Regis (7.5 miles) with its famous harbour wall known as the Cobb and in the other direction to the quaint fishing village of Beer (2 miles), or further on to Branscombe (6 miles) and Sidmouth (10 miles).
