With exposed beams and stonework, renovated and redecorated in early 2025, it has all the modern comforts with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. It includes a large spacious room with a bed, a desk and a sofa, an equipped American kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, 81" flat-screen TV with 25 channels), a lovely dining room, a shower room and a separate toilet. St Rémy de Provence is a typical village in the heart of the Alpilles, renowned for its many celebrities (including Van Gogh) and exceptional sites, its museums, and its Roman ruins. The Alpilles National Park offers beautiful walks. A very nice market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays (food market) at the foot of the building and throughout the village. Places to see: - Les Baux-de-Provence, its ancient village, its walks to visit the quarries and the show that's unique in the world at La Carrière des Lumières - Many villages all around, different landscapes, a unique market, long walks or bike rides. - Les Saintes Maries de la Mer (35 minutes) - The Luberon (Gordes, Roussillon, etc.) (30 minutes) - Avignon and its festival in July (TGV station 20 minutes away) - Aix-en-Provence (35 minutes) - Arles (25 minutes) - Eygalières (10 min) A bus stop is nearby and allows you to get to Avignon in 20 minutes. Motorbike and bike rental by the day. Guest access The apartment is located on the top floor of a village house with 3 small identical apartments on 3 levels. People who are elderly or have mobility issues would be better off considering the first floor apartment, also available on Airbnb (Cosy apartment...). Under the building there is free parking for 3/4 of an hour to unload your luggage. Free daytime parking is a 5-minute walk away.
