3 bedroom / 2 bath house with ocean and sound views plus an enclosed outdoor shower room. 60 second walk to ocean beach access. Linens included. 1.2 miles north of the Surf City line with local bars and restaurants. Great fishing and close to local golf courses, kayak and jet ski rentals. Huge concrete driveway is large enough to bring your boat and jet skis too! The house is very well furnished with everything that you will need for your vacation. New linens for all bedrooms in 2024. The space HOUSE: Stand alone house on stilts with a large, covered side porch. The side lot does not have a house on it so your sunset views will be unobstructed. On the ocean side with have double decks that connect to the covered side porch with great ocean views. The house is well equipped with six wooden chairs, two for the side porch, two for upstairs ocean view deck, and two for the downstairs ocean view deck. GROUND FLOOR: Under the house is an enclosed outdoor shower room with a bench, 2 floating chairs, 9 beach towels (stored in master bedroom), a small cooler, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. It's the best shower in the house because it's directly below the water heater. It has double shower head. Bench with a mural on one wall. There is a tub of sidewalk chalk for kids to use on the driveway. We provide a small cooler to bring your beverages to the beach. You can drink alcohol in cans on the beach, no glass is allowed. The north side of the house has a closet with a few beach chairs, a tub of beach toys, and a small recycle bin. There is a garden hose there to wash off your chairs and beach toys. Next to this room is the green garbage bin and the blue recycle bin. Under the house are 3 picnic tables, a gas grill with a backup gas tank, a hammock, a corner couch, a coffee and a side table. There is a light switch for the 3 led lights on the pole next to the stairs. The outlet to plug in the string lights is behind the blue chair. Please unplug the sting lights when you are not using them. The large cement double driveway has an additional double-parking pad with plenty of room to park a boat or jet skis. The area under the house is also cement. 1ST FLOOR: MASTER BEDROOM: Located on the sound side with a king bed. In the closet you will find old school board games like Topsail Monopoly, a shoe rack, coat hangers, and a dirt devil portable carpet cleaner. Master has two armories. In the first armoire you will find 9 beach towels, extra blankets, plus the bedding for pull out couch (comforter, two pillows, and sheets). The 2nd armoire has two draws for your clothes and a TV with Roko and Netflix. LAUNDRY: Laundry closet is located between the bedroom and the bathroom. New washer in December 2023. Dryer. 3 large shelves with baskets. Basket 1: Basic cleaning products. Basket 2: Kitchen towels and wash cloths. Basket 3: Cloth napkins and salad bowls. Basket 4: Kitchen garbage bags and dish detergent. Basket 5: Back-up sunglasses to borrow. Basket 6: Backup toilet paper. Basket 7: First aid necessities such as band-aids. Basket 8: Plastic dishes for the kids. On the wall you will find a mop and broom. Laundry basket and we have a clothing bin on the side for colors, whites, and towels. We do not provide laundry detergent. This room is on the sound side between the master bath and the 1st floor bathroom, and you enter in via the kitchen. MASTER BATHROOM: Full bathroom with a tub, vanity, toilet, hair dryer, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and a basket with basic supplies (shampoo, conditioner, and soap). KITCHEN: The kitchen, living room and dining room are all an open floor plan. Granite counter tops with two bar stools. Stainless steel appliances. Fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, four burner stove, microwave, and double sink. Keuric coffee maker with a pot side and a pod side. We prove a few coffee pods to get you started. Draw of kitchen utensils with a jar of stainless-steel utensils. Potholders. 7 pots and pans, a tea pot, a fondu pot. Waffle maker. Blender. Banana and fruit holder. Dinnerware and utensils for 9 people. All kinds of platters and Tupperware. On top of the fridge is a huge cutting board for your grilling and a martini mixing setup. Hanging glass rack with glasses: wine, champagne, snifter and martini. In the corner storage below the kitchen sink you will find a fire extinguisher, a lobster pot, and a Sponge Bob Square Pants lunch box packeted with corn on the cob holders and seafood crackers. The kitchen window is above the sink with a view of the side lot. DINING ROOM: Wine cabinet with a table with 4 chairs and a bench and seats 7. There are two additional seats on the kitchen island. LIVING ROOM: Pull-out couch that sleeps two, a loveseat, side table with a lamp, coffee table, and a huge smart TV. The remote is on top of the cabinet below the TV. The thermostat is located on the wall next to the TV. COVERED SIDE PORCH: Lighted ceiling fan with two wooden captain chairs and a side table. There is armoire where we typically store extra drinks. There is an entry door to the house on the side porch with the key code entry. DECK: The front deck has 2 wooden chairs and a sliding glass door that enters in the area between the living room and the dining room. The front deck and the side porch are connected. Great ocean views in the front and fabulous sunset views from the covered side porch. 2ND FLOOR: BEDROOM #2: Bedroom on the ocean side with a queen bed, TV with Roko and Netflix, bureau, small desk and chair, two small side tables with lamps. In the closet you will find a vacuum, an iron, ironing board, extra blankets, 2 yoga mats, a shoe rack, and coat hangers. There is a baby mattress with sheets under the bed. Sliding glass doors to the top deck. DECK #2: Top deck has 2 wooden chairs and great ocean views. BATHROOM #2: The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. Shower stall, vanity, toilet, towels, hand towels, wash cloths and a basket with basic supplies (shampoo, conditioner, and soap). BEDROOM #3: Bedroom on the sound side with a double bed and a single bed, TV with Roko and Netflix, and a side table. Below the TV are 4 baskets with various card games. In the closet is a 6-draw cube bureau, a sleeping bag, shoe rack, and coat hangers. There is a telescope, but I cannot verify the quality of the view you’ll see because I haven’t used it in years. Please do not leave the telescope outside when you are not using it. OTHER NOTES: Both decks were repaired by a licensed general contractor in 2025. New bed linens for all four beds in 2024. 1st floor exterior was painted in 2024. The entire exterior of the house was painted in 2019. The upstairs bathroom was painted in 2024. New washer in 2023. New waterproof flooring on first floor in 2022. Master bathroom was remodeled in 2021 with a new vanity, new paint, and new flooring. New HVAC Unit in 2021. We have a maintenance contract to ensure that the HVAC unit is cleaned and serviced on a regular basis. We have a monthly pest control maintenance contract. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Even though the HVAC is new in 2021, it would freeze up if you chose to leave the unit running with the windows and/or doors open. Should this occur, the typical turn-around for a repair technician is one to three days and you will be miserable. Please leave the windows and doors shut at all times. The sun glares off of the ocean into the top ocean front bedroom. We highly recommend leaving the curtains shut when you are not in the room during the day. Guest access The entire house is included in the rental. Also own the side lot so you will have unobstructed sunset views from the covered side porch. Large cement double driveway with an additional cement double landing pad is large enough for you to bring your boat or jet skis. 3 picnic tables, a private enclosed outdoor shower room, and a gas grill are located under the house. House has double decks on the ocean side with great ocean views. Access to the side storage where there are basic lawn chairs and a giant tub of beach toys. Additional patio furniture under the house and on all decks. Hose to wash off on the side of the house. Several small coolers. Other things to note CHECK-IN PROCEDURES: • Check-in is at 4:00 pm. • Renters must inspect house for damage and cleanliness upon arrival. All incidents must be reported via text WITH PHOTOS before midnight of check-in. CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES: • Check-out is at 10:30 am. • Please leave the beds as is. • If you use the pull-out sofa, please put the dirty sheets in the clothes bin next to the dryer. • Place all dirty towels in the clothes bins next to the dryer. All linens must be accounted for: 9 beach towels, 9 white towels, 9 white hand towels, kitchen towels, wash cloths, 1 king sheet set, 1 queen sheet set, 2 double sheet sets, and 1 twin sheet set. • All dishes, utensils, pots, and pans must be cleaned. Please run dishwasher before departing. • Pull curtains shut in front of the two sliding glass doors. • Shut all window blinds. You do not have to pull the curtains shut on the windows. • Turn off all lights, ceiling fans, electronics, and TVs. • All food and beverages must be removed from kitchen cabinets and the refrigerator. • All pet waste must be picked up and placed in outdoor garbage can. • Bring out all garbage and recyclables to the outdoor garbage cans. • The supplies in the laundry closet are for the renters to use onsite during their stay. Please do not take the leftover cleaning supplies and toiletries home with you. • Adjust HVAC settings: o January to March: Set heat to 55 degrees. o April and May: Turn off unit. o June to August: Set A/C to 80 degrees. o September and October: Turn off unit. o November to December: Set heat to 55 degrees. • Please make sure all doors are locked when you leave. LINENS INCLUDED: 9 white house towels, 9 beach towels, 4 small towels, 9 wash cloths, kitchen towels. King bed linens in downstairs master bedroom: New sheet set and new quilt in 2024. Queen bed linens in upstairs ocean side bedroom: New sheet set and new quilt in 2024. Double and single bed linens in upstairs sound side bedroom: New sheet sets and matching quilts in 2024. Double pull-out couch with new sheets. Blankets are pillows for the couch set are in the 2nd armoire in the master bedroom. Extra blankets are located in the upstairs ocean front closet. PET REQUIREMENTS: Trained Adult Dogs that have never bitten anyone are allowed. Puppies under 1 year old are not permitted. Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Cats, or other Creatures are not permitted on the property at any time. Dogs must be house trained and, on a leash when outside. Pet owner is required to pick up all pet waste. Dogs must be up to date on their shots. GARBAGE: Please bring garbage and recyclable bins down to the side of the road on Tuesday night and return to the side of the house on Wednesday. Bring the garbage can down on Friday night and return to the side of the house on Saturday. SMOKING: This is a smoke free house. Smoking is only permitted under the house. If you smoke inside the house, you will forfeit your entire deposit. Please do not flick cigarette butts into the grass, it's a huge fire hazard especially during the summer. FIREWORKS & OPEN FIRES: NTB does not permit fireworks or open fires. We do have a gas grill with a back-up tank for grilling, which is permitted. DECKS: Leaning or sitting on any deck rails is not permitted. CHILDREN: The house is not child proofed. Children of all ages are welcome; however, an adult must be with them at all times when the children are on the decks, yard, or driveway. There is a giant tub of beach toys in the side storage area.
