Dream lake view over Lake Maggiore

Our 2-room apartment combines the charm of the medieval old town with comfort and romance. From every room you can enjoy a great lake view of Lake Maggiore. Located on the edge of the old town of Piodina and on the hiking trail, it is just a few steps into nature, which is characterized by Mediterranean vegetation. Free public parking is available 100 meters away. Bedroom and living room are connected by a slightly steep staircase. The bathroom is small and has a shower. The space The apartment is located in the car-free old town of Brissago Piodina, about 100 m above Lake Maggiore. The houses have grown together and intertwined over the centuries. Casa Rex is on the edge of the old town and therefore enjoys a fantastic view and is at the same time part of the medieval town of Piodina. Usually it is very quiet, but of course you can hear neighbors from somewhere every now and then. From the public free parking lots, an approx. 100 m long, slightly ascending, continuous footpath leads through the medieval alleys. With our luggage trolley, even larger luggage or weekly shopping can be easily transported. The most convenient and flexible way to get around here is by car. There is a bus that stops 100 meters from the apartment, at the Piodina stop, but unfortunately line 8 runs rather sporadically. The lake can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes via very nice footpaths and hiking trails, past palm trees, cacti and agaves. The way up is also picturesque, but a little more strenuous. Guest access Casa Rex is used exclusively by the guests. The balcony belongs to the apartment and is private. Other things to note Since there is no direct access to the apartment and there is a somewhat steep staircase inside the apartment, our guests should be reasonably good on foot.
