With plenty of space for the entire family to share, or to relax with another couple, our end unit Villa is your perfect spot to enjoy all the amenities of Cerritos. Have your 1st cup of coffee on the patio covered by beautiful bougainvillea, then drink a cold Cerveza or glass of wine from the on-site restaurant or your rooftop deck. You're a 5-minute walk to famous Cerritos Beach, the best surf beach around. Swim in the heated pool or relax in the hottub. High speed internet, smart TV, and a/c! The space Our villa is on the end, right across the parking lot from the large, heated pool and adults-only Jacuzzi, as well as the communal palapa where you can find pizza and other snacks. This is our home away from home, so we're making sure it's clean and wonderful for your visit. We recently purchased our villa and have taken great care to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. We are in the process of purchasing new furniture and the entire place has recently been repainted. The kitchen is also well furnished with a lot of new items, so you'll be able to cook up just about anything you can think of! One bedroom located downstairs with a queen bed. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a queen bed and the second bedroom with a bunk, double on bottom and twin on top. The living room has a great couch, a sweet kitchen with a perfect amount of space to prep and cook, plus a hightop counter. There is a washer and dryer in the unit!! This is a RARE FIND! The real gem is the outdoor patio space. This area has multiple sitting areas, and outdoor shower, tons of shade, and even a hammock. You will eat your breakfast, lunch, and dinners enjoying the Baja weather. Last, head up to the rooftop for ocean views and evening hangout time. Be careful on the stairs, as they are not suitable for unsupervised kids!! Guest access Access is given to the full home, with the exception of the owners/cleaners closet. Tu Casa Property Management is your main source of communication before, during and after your stay. They are a local, family owned property management team living and operating only 5 minutes away. You can contact them through VRBO or airbnb and you will find their direct contact information in the welcome binder in the condo. Other things to note **The magic of Baja California Sur is in the challenges. When you leave the conveniences of your home, entering this beautiful region of rural Mexico, you leave behind the expectations that everything is going to happen smoothly. While this sounds like an inconvenience, instead it is what makes this space magical. We get to slow down and remember what is truly necessary, appreciating what is important. We have this unique opportunity to take a step back and experience Baja as it is, not how we want it to be.** Cerritos, Pescadero and surrounding areas are considered RURAL Mexico. We love our guests to have this understanding before arrival, which helps manage expectations. Infrastructure and certain amenities are still developing in many ways. Electricity is fairly new to this area (within the last 4 years), so there are times of power outages. Many systems are only on solar and are not tied into the power grid in any way, solely relying on sunny days. Driving at night is dangerous due to cows on the road or cars without headlights (not banditos!) Please go slow. Most roads off the main highway are dirt and all roads in the area have potholes with lots of bumps. Most roads do not have street names, and houses do not have addresses. You must rely on the maps provided and do a little research of your own. Baja midnight is considered 9:00 pm, and expect many businesses to close at this time. Buildings typically leak during rains, and water can come under doors depending on the amount of rain. The entire area is quickly developing so be prepared for construction. We never know when it begins or how quickly a project will finish. There are few areas without construction near by at this point. We are in the desert with many new human inhabitants; therefore, the natives do make appearances. We attempt to mitigate this as much as possible, but please do not be surprised if you see a mouse or two, flies and gnats (bobos), ants, scorpions, or a rare snake. This area is considered safe, but we do still have petty theft. Please lock electronics and valuables in safes or locked cabinets when you are not home. We recommend trip insurance as, unfortunately, we cannot refund for weather, nearby construction, or rural Mexico related incidents. The Villas do have a security person.
