The Cabins bottom level is the in-law suite with private entrance, queen bed, full bath and kitchenette. The top two levels of the cabin consists of two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Centrally located 7 miles from the small town of Running Springs and a short 8 minute drive to Snow Valley. The town of Running Springs has many shops, restaurants and a market! Both Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear are only a 20 minute drive away making Arrowbear lake the perfect place to stay. The space Welcome to the Black Rock Cabin! This cabin was built up level by level beginning in 1980. With endless towering rock formations on the property, the views from the house are magical. If you're up for it, sunrise on the front porch is incredible. We estimate that some of the formations on the property are thousands of years old! This cabin is just for you; the adventurer, to come reset, unplug, and create. Newly designed with an 'adventures' pace in mind, our hope is that you enjoy every part of your stay; from taking a quick hike to the lake in the morning, choosing the perfect record to put on as the sun sets, or by relaxing on one of three decks/balconies surrounded by many rock formations, trees and a starry night sky. The private in-law suite with its own private entrance has one bedroom, one bathroom and kitchenette which works well for a group of friends, three couples, or mid sized families. Please note: The cabin has exceptional views and is situated up in the rocks so there are many stairs up to the top. Guest access While you're staying here, the house will be your private oasis. Feel free to explore the yard and boulders. Also make sure to enjoy the gas and wood burning fireplaces as well as all the incredible views from the front porch during your stay! Other things to note Our cabin has many stairs to the top, so please be cautious while packing and carrying heavy loads to the main level.
