Escape to the quiet countryside just a short drive to Missouri Star Quilt, Kansas City and St. Joseph. As super hosts, our priority is to make your visit the most comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing time at the Mooresville Guest House. The space The Mooresville Guest House is a cozy and comfortable home, decorated to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. A great front porch with a large swing for enjoying coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. One level with no steps/stairs to enter or exit. Our “Rural Gem” is an open concept with a queen bed and two twins. A warm and homey area with a large fully equipped kitchen for cooking any meal. A Keurig and a 10 cup regular coffee pot are supplied along with bottled water and snacks. A washer and dryer are available to our guests. A large flat screen and games for your enjoyment. A BBQ grill is available for use (lighter fluid and charcoal furnished). Guest access The entire home is yours to enjoy. It is accessible with a key code, easy to enter and very secure. There is a large green space next to the guest house which is a great area for outdoor games. Other things to note Check in is 2:00, check out 11:00. Please note that our policy on children is age 12 and older. Also we can only accept a maximum of 2 hunters or fishermen per reservation. We provide an abundance of visitor information on surrounding areas, great for day trips. FOR QUILTERS, THIS IS THE PLACE! We are close to the Missouri Star Quilt and we have the room to set up machines and tables. Our past quilter guests love the time spent at our guest house, a great time to sew and just have fun.
