Beautiful historic renovation in the heart of Downtown Charles Town above the brewery Abolitionist Ale Works. This third floor unit is within walking distance to some of the best bars, restaurants and shops in the area. Features include a renovated kitchen w eat in table, concrete countertops, coffeemaker, microwave, fridge and range, bathroom with clawfoot tub and victorian hex tile, 2 full bedrooms with queen beds and a private washer and dryer and rear balcony The space This is a fully private 2 bedroom condo in the heart of Downtown Charles Town, the space is on the third floor without any handicapped accessibility. The front door enters into the kitchen which includes a small bar table, concrete countertops, microwave, range, full refrigerator, double sink, newer cabinets and a stack washer and dryer. Bedroom one includes a queen bed, with full closet, dresser and side tables. This space is cooled with a window air conditioner and heated with a recessed wall heater. Bedroom two is a narrow room that includes a queen bed, full closet, window overlooking Washington St and a ceiling fan. Please note that this bedroom does not have direct air conditioning and is heated with a recessed wall heater. The living room includes a couch, accent chair, 55 inch television with built in Roku, side and coffee tables and windows that overlook Washington St. This space is cooled with a portable window air conditioner and heated with a recessed wall heater. Bathroom includes antique hex tile floor, antique clawfoot tub with shower and a pedestal sink. there is a stack washer dryer in the hallway along with extra closet storage. There is a small rear deck/balcony that can be accessed from the kitchen. Guest access You can access all areas of the condo in addition to the common areas of the building. Kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, laundry and rear deck. Other things to note We cannot facilitate late check out or early check in requests, no exceptions will be made. We are cleaning this space thoroughly after each guests and we are following the airbnb covid-19 cleaning guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting so we need all of the time between bookings to properly and thoroughly clean before and after your stay. there are no pets or animals permitted, no exceptions will be made. We do not have a dedicated parking lot or garage but plenty of street parking is available and there is a parking lot available to the public less than a block away. Washington St has free 2 hour parking M-F 8-5PM and metered parking on other blocks and in the parking lot M-F 8-5. Parking in evenings and weekends is free. Please note posted parking rules wherever you decide to park. There is a strict no smoking policy in our rooms and our building, this includes hallways, common areas, rooftop and out of windows. Anyone who smokes inside our property will be assessed a $250 smoking fee. There is not central air in this historic apartment, each room is cooled with a window air conditioner or heated with a recessed wall heater. The apartment is in a downtown area above a working brewery/restaurant and tenants could be exposed to city or business noise.
