The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat! The space This 3 bedroom cabin includes a stone fireplace and a deck overlooking the lake. The property has a private dock and guests will have access to a pontoon, paddle boards, and canoes. Next to your cabin, you have a paved patio, with an two propane fire tables and gas grill. There is a tiered rock perennial garden planted with over 150 blooming plants, with a water feature, behind the patio. The property also includes a paved driveway, perfect for off-street parking. The Cardinal Cabin welcomes dogs and includes an outside exercise cable for your pet. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin. You will also have access to the grounds of both your cabin and our cabin. This includes 150 feet of lakeshore, two docks, two canoes, a pontoon, and a swing set. In the boathouse, there will be two paddleboards, floaties, life jackets, a croquet set, a badminton set, and a volleyball net and ball. The volleyball net can also be set up in the shallow water. We have a beautiful patio, with two propane fire tables, between our two cabins for your enjoyment! Behind the patio, is a three-tiered rock garden, containing 150 perennials and a water feature. Other things to note We are dog friendly! Please bring your pets! We have an outdoor Pet Waste Station, between the boat houses. However, township law requires you to keep your dogs on a leash at all time. You can walk them on the two lawns or tie them to the outside run. Please walk them on the public roads. Do not walk your dogs on the wooded property across from the cabin or let them onto any other property. The driveway is paved and steep. When it snows in the winter, we will plow and sand the driveway, when the snow stops falling.
