NEW Carpet! This bedroom is one of three rooms that are upstairs of a large house. There is a common area with leather couches and a mini-kitchenette. Downstairs is also rented, but you are allowed to access the kitchen and laundry room if needed. Enjoy the huge deck and hot tub with an extra full bathroom. Enjoy hiking and swimming at the lake, which is only a 3-minute walk from our backyard. Quiet neighborhood, Forest View, all trees behind house! Easy access to shopping, airport, downtown! The space This entire home is shared. We have 3 rooms upstairs, and a large downstairs rental. There is plenty of room for everyone! Our home is backed right up to Percy Priest Lake and only a 3-minute walk to "the Cove", which is a great swimming and fishing spot. The Cove has a perfect place to build a bonfire. go swimming, padfleboatd, kayak, pull up a boat and even camp out!. We suggest wearing water shoes/sandals in the lake. We also have a place set up for bow shooting practice, it's BYOB (bring your own bow), lol. Right down the street from us there are beautiful fitness and hiking trails and other state parks and beaches. You are even allowed to hunt back there in the woods! Tennessee is very seasonal, so from late October thru the end of March, the weather may not accommodate a warm lake experience, but is still beautiful and refreshing. During your stay I'm a business owner and spend some of my time in Florida and elsewhere. Our 20yr old son still lives in his bedroom, which is also downstairs. He attends MTSU and also helps us maintain the home. We do ask everyone to keep their space clean and clean up after themselves. I do have a chore list divided out among rooms so if everyone does a little we can keep the home clean and cozy! Other things to note Based on our availability, we are willing to take you or your group out on the boat for a day on the lake! There will be a charge of $75 per hour plus gas to help us cover our expenses. We love to cruise and experience breathtaking sunsets; take the kids battle tubing and go to the Legendary Cliffs!
