This is a private, lake view, luxury ski lodge located 3 blocks from the Heavenly Boulder ski Lodge. If you enjoy skiing/boarding in winter, and hiking/biking/fly fishing summertime activities, this is the ideal location! Want to be the first on the hill in the morning - catch that fresh powder? We’ve got you covered - you can’t beat this location! Summer provides you a beautiful view, steps from the Tahoe Rim Trail. Casinos are 10 minutes away for great night life. This large custom home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, and is the ONLY house on the cul-de-sac surrounded on 3 sides by national forest. Talk about peaceful, secluded, and quiet, yet close to everything! You will enjoy this unique 4 bedroom/4 bath home and have room to wiggle with its 3,200 square feet. Featuring two premier suites, each with a rock fireplace, you will want to share this vacation with those you love. Lounge on one of the many decks enjoying a festive adult beverage, soak in the hot tub and taking in the views of Lake Tahoe, Mt. Tallac, and Pyramid Peak. Love that beautiful blue water of the lake and catch amazing colors at sunset -- and the star gazing is AMAZING! With parking for three mid-sized cars, step down only 4 stairs to the front door and utilize the mud room to shed your shoes, snow gear and store your skis. You will find this expansive home welcoming. In the kitchen you will be cooking on the 6-burner Viking stovetop, baking in the dual Kitchen Aide ovens, and pleasing any chef in your party with plenty of granite countertop space. All appliances are stainless steel and well maintained. The owner provides all you need to prepare quick meals for a few or a feast for many - to include serving platters, bowls, utensils, etc. Enjoy dining in the “rotunda” with plenty of seating for all guests: seating for 12 in the dining area (8 at the dining table and 4 at the adjacent breakfast bar). Additional seating for 4 at the built in desk. The main floor has an open floor plan allowing guests to flow easily from dining to spacious living area centered around gorgeous exposed rock fireplace (natural gas) with amazing views of Lake Tahoe, Mt. Tallac and the surrounding forest. Wander out onto the deck for splendid star gazing in this secluded location! Too cold for you outside, enjoy the 55” flat screen LED High Definition TV with BluRay player and over 250 channels via Direct TV. The 16 feet of glass doors provides an expansive view of the outside, all from the comforts of the two six-foot sofas. The large main floor deck provides not only amazing lake and mountain views, but plenty of outdoor seating and a professionally maintained direct gas Weber grill - you will never run out of propane here! Need to get a little work done while you are away on vacation? You will find fast wireless internet service throughout the home. There is a built-in desk to help you set your office up once and get your job done while enjoying the beautiful views. Also located on this main floor is Bedroom #1 which features a CALIFORNIA KING pillowtop bed and private deck. The alarm clock provides USB port for easy recharge. There is a full bath adjacent to the room with tub/shower combination. All four bathrooms are full baths with either a stand-up shower or shower/tub combination and equipped with luxury towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Enjoy endless hot water on demand! You won't find a cold shower if you are last to bathe! All bedrooms have access to their own private deck to enjoy mountain views, fresh mountain air and star gazing. Venture downstairs to find the other 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, along with large capacity laundry facilities. Bedroom #2 contains a bunk bed with QUEEN sized bed on bottom and TWIN on top. Not to be confused with small single/twin sized bunk beds, this is a unique twin over queen configuration creating more space for each person(s). Not ready to put a little one in the top bunk? No worries, TWIN trundle bed is located under the Queen. The table lamp and alarm clock provide USB ports for easy recharge. There is an adjacent full bath with tub/shower combination. Down a hallway you will come to an extremely private Bedroom #3 - one of the two premier bedrooms in this home. This spacious bedroom features a KING pillowtop bed AND a QUEEN pillowtop bed with a private rock fireplace (gas). The table lamps and alarm clocks offer USB ports in the base for easy recharge. The ensuite bathroom has a stand up shower. This room offers a 49” flat screen LED High Definition TV with Blu-Ray player and access to over 250 channels via Direct TV. You can also log into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts if desired. Down another hallway, you enter very private Bedroom #4, the crown jewel of the home and the second premier bedroom. This spacious bedroom features a KING pillowtop bed with a sofa that converts to FULL/Double bed set off in a private area. There is a reading/relaxing space near the fireplace where you can snuggle up for a long read. A beautiful rock fireplace creates a romantic atmosphere in this room. The ensuite bathroom has an oversized shower and expansive views of the lake and mountains. This room offers a 49” flat screen LED HD TV with Blu-Ray player and Direct TV. You can log into your person Netflix and Amazon Prime for viewing your own shows! Each lamp and alarm clock offer USB ports in base for easy recharge. Enjoy the lake and mountain views from the large deck and to top it off - you are the closest one of the hot tub! The 7 person hot tub is professionally maintained and completely sanitized between EACH rental. From the tub you will enjoy amazing views of the mountains, fresh mountain air. Soak your worries away while you relish the tranquility of the world known as Lake Tahoe. Exercise caution as external decks are over 30 feet up! Now for the Do's and Don'ts....this is important so please ready carefully: It is important to note that THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. Absolutely no smoking is allowed either indoors OR outside on any of the decks, walkway, hot tub or driveway - its for the benefit and enjoyment of all, and the safety of our National Forest. Forfeit of Damage Deposit will result for disregard of this policy. NON-Negotiable. This is also NOT a pet friendly home, so while we love your Fido almost as much as you do, please do not bring your pets on this trip! We will withhold necessary deposit required to have carpets and furniture professionally cleaned should evidence of pets be present. NON-Negotiable. Parking is allowed in the driveway ONLY. We are permitted for 3 cars ONLY! Parking is provided for 3, mid-sized, carefully parked cars. Should one of those cars be larger than mid-sized, only 2 cars will fit. What is the definition of mid-sized, visit any Car Rental website and you will see examples. Please plan accordingly as NO ADDITIONAL CARS ARE ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS! Due to Douglas County regulations, absolutely NO street parking in the cul-de-sac at any time. It's a shame as there is lots of space, and our permit simply will not allow it. Should the police be called for a parking violation (the area is monitored 24/7) you will sadly forfeit the remainder of your stay and will be asked to leave the property. We are notified each time the police respond to a parking violation at this address. This is required for our Vacation Rental Permit to remain in effect. If you will have more than 3 cars for ANY duration of time, you are REQUIRED to park them elsewhere. Reasonably priced parking can be secured from any of the casinos (Hard Rock, Harrah's, Harvey's, Mont Bleu - a 10 minute drive away). Lastly, please honor the fact that this home is perched at the high end of a forest canyon. There is a STRICT noise ordinance that prohibits outside noise after 9:00p.m. If you are planning to host a loud and rambunctious party, please, please, please select another property. Read our description carefully. We are a relaxing, serene home in a quiet neighborhood, and we ask you to please honor our neighbors by adhering to the 9:00p.m. outside noise ordinance. While you don’t see many other homes from our decks or hot tub, voices and music carry exceptionally far in the canyon. Should the police be called for a Noise Ordinance violation, you will sadly forfeit the remainder of your stay and will be asked to leave the property. This is required for our Vacation Rental Permit to remain in effect. We are notified each time the police respond to a noise ordinance violation at this address. We are quick to respond via email or cell phone texting. Property Manager lives within 15 minutes of property should you encounter any challenges. This amazing home is located on a cul-de-sac and is the only home on the cul-de-sac circle surrounded by U.S. National Forest. Secluded, yet extremely close to skiing, shopping, and casinos. There is a splendid pub "Fox & Hound Smokehouse" a few minute's walk from the house where we love to unwind and enjoy Apres Ski and play video poker. A small market is also close with ski rentals next door. A full grocery story is just down the hill a 10 minute drive. Please note, this is a serene setting and there is a STRICT noise ordinance from 9:00p.m. - 8:00a.m. If you rent a car, or drive to our home, we provide parking for up to 3 mid-sized, carefully parked cars on site (1 in garage and 2 end to end in driveway). There is no street parking allowed. There is also a shuttle South Tahoe Airporter that can get you from Reno Airport (RNO) to Stateline/South Lake Tahoe and you can use Heavenly shuttle, Uber/Lift and/or Taxi to get around. You can also catch "Go Blue" local public transportation to get to ski lifts as well as up/down the hill for bigger selection of shopping and dining. Please Note: A 14% Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) is required by Douglas County law on all Vacation Home Rentals. This tax will be collected at time of booking as the "Community Fee' as listed in the rates and fees. Additional Note: We are only able to accept 1-night reservations within 30 days of arrival date. Permit number - DSTR1376P Maximum occupancy 8 people. Gatherings and events that exceed maximum occupancy are prohibited. Maximum parking 3 cars. Parking only in designated areas. Passes issued. Quiet hours - 9pm-8am and strictly enforced.
