The space Strictly no shoes inside the house! This is for the safety of our guests. Quiet time between 10.00pm to 6.00am. The new SMART "Petaluma North Station" is 5 min walk from our house. You can go to downtown and all the way to Larkspur to take a ferry to SFO! Great ambience and space for a relaxed stay. It is a custom designed guest house with extra sound-proof insulation to minimize the noise from road and railway track. We have insulated the house with quiet rock wool and foam in the walls and the ceiling, and double pane windows to minimize external noise. However, due to the new station, the noise levels have changed, which for some people may be a concern. While it is subjective, we want to be transparent with our guests so they are well informed. Guest comfort and satisfaction is very important to us. We also have 5.1 surround system with ceiling speakers in great room, and a bluetooth speaker in bathroom to enjoy music. High speed wi-fi. Basic utensils and cutlery provided. Landscaped front yard. The space is 867 square. ft which is huge. if you have 4 guests in your group, 2 will be sleeping in the queen bed and the other 2 will be using the air mattress in the living space. If you have kids the airbed can be in the bedroom itself. There is sufficient space. Please note that the kitchen is not equipped with standard range. Any light cooking needs to be done with induction stove. The loft in the house is not habitable space and is not accessible. One of the closets in the bedroom is blocked for storing supplies. Guest access The guesthouse is behind the main house. It is not visible from the street. Please take the concrete path/driveway along the brown fence. The pathway is on the right side of the house ie. when you are entering it is on the left side. Please have the brown fence as a reference and follow that way. There are path lights along the way. You will find a wooden door that will lead you to the backyard. once you open the door, you will see the structure. Other things to note Light cooking preferred.
