Spacious contemporary open-plan lounges, dining & spectacular kitchen with every appliance you could want including steam oven, lava coal grills, induction hobs & gas ring option The space The house consists of 4 bedrooms, with three having en-suite toilet and bath and / or showers, and the normal configuration is to have double beds. If you can fill out the bit of the enquiry form that gives us more detail about your guests, we can suggest some variations to suit your group. The sort of things we can do are to take out a double-bed in one of the rooms and replace this with two singles – or in the Annexe, which has a double bed, there is also a couch which is also a sofa bed – so we sometimes see a “Mum & Dad and small child” occupying the annex in this way. The master bedroom is big and extends across the whole width of the house and is in an open-plan-style with an area with couches for 6 people with a TV, and so this area could be used for someone to sleep with a mattress and bedding on part of the floor area. It all depends on how many “couples” you have that will be sharing a bed and how many people require their own separate room and privacy. We have superfast internet throughout the house – guaranteed to be 500 Mbytes per second in the house – and the Annexe takes a relay which might drop it to around 300 Mbytes per second. We require guests to let us know in advance if they propose to use the optional Hot Tub. It is available seasonally - generally May to September, when the weather is suitable. If so, we prepare it fresh for every new guest, which involves emptying it completely, wash and sanitise, refill and reheat. Where guests arrive on the same day as another guest departing, this can sometimes mean that the water temperature is not up to a full comfortable level on the first evening, but we know that it will be at ambient temperature by next morning. Please let us know if you wish to use the Hot Tub - if so, the charge is £150 per stay, and we ask that this be paid separately from the AirBnB invoicing, as an optional extra, anytime prior to departure. Guest access There is parking for two normal size cars comfortably, and with of car shuffling to avoid reversing out the drive, three can be accommodate. Any more cars than this could potentially be accommodated by letting us know in advance and our own driveway next door might have space available. Let us know if you propose to have more than two cars!!! There is a parking compound surrounded by paved pathways and tiled patios and terraces that are not designed to take the weight of a car. We ask all guests to ensure that they park on the hard standing of the parking area only and do not rest any wheels on the pathways or terraces.
